Jerami Grant has declined his $9.3 million player option for 2020-2021 and becomes an unrestricted free agent per Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports. (Chris Haynes on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

It was previously thought the Nuggets would have a great chance to resign Grant but after declining is option he's decided to bet on himself in pursuit of a multi-year offer. It's not a bad move for Grant, after averaging 12 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game during the 2019-2020 regular season, the power forward really turned it up in the playoffs, particularly in the Western Conference Finals, when he averaged 15.8 points per game. His fantasy value would receive an uptick if he signs elsewhere. Miami has been rumored to be interested in the 26-year old.
