Michael Carter-Williams goes for 18/8/6/1 in loss vs. Mavericks

by Matthew MacKay | Magic Correspondent | Tue, Mar 2nd 10:45am EST

Michael Carter-Williams scored 18 points (8-13 FG, 1-2 3PT, 1-2 FT) with eight rebounds, six assists, a steal, and two turnovers across 29 minutes in a 130-124 loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Monday.

Fantasy Impact:

Carter-Williams had his best fantasy outing since returning from a foot injury at the beginning of February, scoring 18 points and collecting eight rebounds. The rangy point guard dished half a dozen assists and forced a steal to reward fantasy managers who took the risk starting him against Luka Doncic and the Mavericks. MCW should be rostered in most point formats and can be started as a cheap value option in DFS contests ahead of Wednesday's game against the Atlanta Hawks.
