Carmelo Anthony recruiting Kevin Durant

ESPN senior writer Marc Stein reports that New York Knicks Forward Carmelo Anthony has been actively recruiting Free Agent Kevin Durant. Anthony and Durant have been together in New York for the past couple of days for the 12 man roster announcement for the USA Olympic Basketball team. While the official free agency period doesn’t begin until Friday, the league usually doesn’t penalize player recruitment because many of these players, such as Anthony and Durant, are friends. (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
While signing Durant would be a longshot. The Knicks frontcourt would look scary with Anthony and Durant at the Forward positions and Kristaps Porzingis at Center. Look for Porzingis in particular to improve as Anthony and Durant would see consistent double teams.
