Latest Player Updates

Trey Hendrickson is not expected to return to the Cincinnati Bengals next season and the Indianapolis Colts have emerged as a heavy favorite to land the All-Pro defensive lineman. A tag-and-trade scenario is also in play according to multiple reports. (Source: Cameron Wolfe on X)

Fantasy Impact: Hendrickson, 31, suffered through an injury-plagued 2025 season as he was limited to just seven starts before being placed on injured reserve. In those seven starts, Hendrickson still managed 16 tackles, four sacks, three tackles for a loss, and eight quarterback hits. Hendrickson entered the year having made four consecutive Pro Bowls and was a First Team All-Pro selection in 2024 after leading the league with 17.5 sacks. In his nine-year career with the Saints and Bengals, Hendrickson has 81 career sacks and 74 tackles for a loss. He would be a massive addition for the Colts - or for any other team that jumps into the fray during free agency.

Former NFL quarterback Derek Carr has confirmed that he would consider coming out of retirement. He stated in his Home Grown podcast that he "would have to be healthy" and "would want a chance to win a Super Bowl." (Source: Pro Football Rumors on X)

Fantasy Impact: Carr, who will turn in 35 in March, last played in the NFL in 2024 when he made 10 starts for the New Orleans Saints. The 11-year NFL veteran and four-time Pro-Bowl selection, played nine seasons for the Raiders and two for the Saints, combining to throw for 41,245 yards and 257 touchdowns. It's safe to assume that quarterback-hungry teams (Browns, Jets, Raiders) could see if there is interest. Other teams like the Vikings, Steelers, Dolphins, Colts, Falcons, and Cardinals could have potential openings, but aren't necessarily Super Bowl contenders either. But, it appears that the option is on the table and Carr could pull a Philip Rivers and return to the NFL in 2026 at some point.
