DraftKings NFL Lineup Advice: Week 11 (Full Slate)

Week 11 brings us a 13-game full slate with six teams on bye. Fortunately, it is not exactly a bunch of offensive juggernauts taking the week off as teams like the Bills, Jets, Browns, Dolphins, and 49ers get some rest. However, if you want to get exposure to the game of the week then you will need to play the full week slate as the marquee matchup between the Chiefs and Rams is on Monday night. The Thursday night matchup between the Packers and Seahawks doesn’t have quite as much fantasy appeal, but there could be a couple of players worth considering.

Thursday Option

Aaron Jones (RB – GB): $5,700 @ SEA
Jones finally had the breakout game that everyone has been clamoring for last week with 15 carries for 145 yards and two touchdowns against the Dolphins. Jones is averaging a robust 6.8 YPC to lead the league this season. Meanwhile, he’ll face a Seahawks run defense that has allowed a 5.36 YPC to opposing RBs over the last five weeks, which ranks 28th in the NFL. On a short week traveling across the country, look for the Packers to continue to focus on the running game with Jones.

Early Cash Game Core

Carson Wentz (QB – PHI): $6,300 @ NO
Wentz has been remarkably consistent this season scoring between 22 and 26 DraftKings points in six straight outings. He could break that streak in Week 11 in a good way with a game against the Saints in New Orleans in which the Eagles’ playoff hopes hang by a thread. The Saints have allowed the most fantasy points to opposing QBs this season, and the game has the second-highest Vegas total on the slate outside of the Monday night matchup between the Chiefs and Rams. The combination of a strong Saints run defense and a weak Eagles running game coupled with the Eagles as a touchdown underdog should have Wentz airing it out on Sunday.

Todd Gurley (RB – LAR): $9,600 vs. KC
I’d be remiss if when talking about the full Week 11 slate I didn’t recommend some of the players in the marquee matchup on Monday night between the Chiefs and Rams, which has a Vegas total over 60 points. Todd Gurley has been a lock for cash game lineups all season long, and there is no reason to stop now in a favorable matchup against the Chiefs. The Chiefs have surrendered the most fantasy points to opposing RBs this season which should put Gurley’s floor at about 25 DraftKings points with plenty of room to go up from there. If you are playing the full week slate then be sure to start your lineup with Gurley.

Corey Davis (WR – TEN): $5,600 @ IND
Don’t look now, but Davis is starting to turn into the true number one wide receiver that many have expected him to become. The Titans offense has shown some life the last two weeks and Davis has been a big part of it with 10 targets in each game reeling in a total of 13 receptions for 181 yards and a score. Davis will face the Colts in Week 11, and they rank 29th against opposing number one WRs this season according to Football Outsiders. Get in on Davis at his current salary because it is only going to go up from here.

Travis Kelce (TE – KC): $6,500 @ LAR
While I expect the Rams to do most of their damage on Monday night through Gurley, the Chiefs will likely get the bulk of their production through the air behind Patrick Mahomes. Kelce is expensive when comparing him to other TEs, but he produces like a WR and will outproduce most WRs priced at his same price range on a weekly basis. Kelce has scored double-digit DK points in every week except the opener this season, and he has a ceiling most other TEs can’t even see, let alone reach. The Rams are in the middle of the pack against opposing TEs this season, but have only faced a couple of other big, athletic TEs and got shredded by them, including Jared Cook in Week 1, who posted nine receptions for 180 yards, and Week 7, when George Kittle put up five grabs for 98 yards and a score.

Players to Watch

Lamar Jackson (QB – BAL): $4,700 vs. CIN
Ravens starting QB Joe Flacco is questionable for their matchup with the Bengals in Week 11 due to a hip injury. If he is unable to go it would open the door for rookie Lamar Jackson to get the first start of his NFL career. Jackson has gotten some experience this year including seven-of-12 passing for 87 yards and 28 carries for 139 yards playing in some offensive packages. He would waltz into a great matchup against a Bengals defense that has allowed the third-most fantasy points to opposing QBs this season. Jackson’s rushing ability should give him a solid floor, and he has plenty of upside at the low, low price of just $4,700. He could become the chalk QB if Flacco is ruled out.

Chris Carson (RB – SEA): $4,400 vs. GB
Carson did not play in Week 10 with a hip injury. Meanwhile, Rashaad Penny and Mike Davis ran wild against the Rams. Carson is trending in the right direction to play on Thursday night at home against the Packers, and if he does then look for him to resume the lead role in the Seahawks backfield. He is priced about the same as the other Seahawks backs, but he will have the freshest legs on the short week after sitting out on Sunday.
