Our Week 13 FanDuel lineup nearly got into the money. The biggest dud was Eagles running back Miles Sanders, who rushed for just 31 yards against one of the league’s worst teams against the run.
If we’ve learned anything this season, it’s that Doug Pederson isn’t an expert when it comes to common sense. Fortunately, the Eagles face the Saints, so I won’t be tempted to utilize any of Pederson’s players this week, and probably the rest of the season.
But enough venting about Doug Pederson’s ineptitude. Let’s dive into my Week 14 lineup.

Quarterback
Justin Herbert (LAC): $8,300
Herbert had his rookie moments against Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots, putting up just 6.36 FanDuel points. I’m betting on a bounce-back against a Falcons defense that remains atrocious against the pass.
Running Backs
Derrick Henry (TEN): $9,600
Henry was a gigantic dud last week as Tennessee got its doors blown off early against Cleveland. Another great bounce-back candidate, Henry now goes up against a Jaguars that’s given up the third-most rushing yards in the NFL. The Titans need a rebound, and it starts with feeding their best offensive player.
David Montgomery (CHI): $6,600
Montgomery is a great value after showing us some upside the last couple of weeks. He’s rushed for 205 yards and two touchdowns in his last two games and now goes up against the NFL’s second-worst run defense. After Chicago’s meltdown last week, I’m expecting the Bears to keep the ball on the ground to avoid Mitchell Trubisky making any more costly mistakes. Montgomery should feast.
Wide Receivers
Keenan Allen (LAC): $8,500
A Herbert-Allen stack is too enticing to pass up. Even in last week’s blowout loss, Allen still caught five passes for 48 yards on 11 targets. That’s his floor. Imagine what his ceiling could be against Atlanta’s woeful secondary.
D.J. Chark (JAX): $5,900
There will be points in this Jaguars-Titans game. Mike Glennon hasn’t been great, but he’s been able to move the ball since becoming Jacksonville’s starter two weeks ago. The Titans secondary proved it’s in shambles in last week’s embarrassing loss to Cleveland. Chark will get his.
Breshad Perriman (NYJ): $5,800
With so many studs in the lineup, we have to find some cost-effective, upside plays somewhere. Perriman was limited in practice with a shoulder injury but should be good to go on Sunday. The Jets will be without rookie receiver Denzel Mims on Sunday, which means Perriman should get even more looks on the outside against Seattle’s generous secondary.
Tight End
Dalton Schultz (DAL): $5,100
I had to get a player involved in the Andy Dalton Revenge Game! Schultz has caught at least four balls each of the last five weeks and faces a Bengals defense that struggles to cover tight ends.
FLEX
Melvin Gordon (DEN): $6,100
I’m not fully on board the Melvin Gordon revival train, but he showed he still has some juice in a 131-yard performance against Kansas City in primetime. Carolina allows 4.6 net yards per attempt and has surrendered 14 rushing touchdowns on the season. It wouldn’t stun me if Gordon had another big game.
Defense and Special Teams
Chicago Bears: $4,100
I’m always looking for cheap alternatives on defense, and the Bears fit the bill this week. Deshaun Watson is amazing, but he’ll have nobody to throw to this week. Plus, Houston’s offensive line has gotten Watson sacked 33 times this year. The Bears will get a chance to take out some frustrations this week.
