What is Props Fantasy
Props Fantasy is a brand new way for redraft managers and even dynasty managers to enjoy fantasy football. Enhance your league experience by leveling up the competition and ways to cash in on your fantasy team. Sound like fun? Here are some more details about this exciting new way to play.
Import your Yahoo or Sleeper fantasy football leagues and create challenges between teams in the same leagues or across different leagues. These challenges can be issued to other Props Fantasy users and kept public, or you can keep them private, only for a select few, or a party of one to accept.
Props Fantasy gives us a chance to cash in on the fantasy teams that we have already drafted. We can create challenges and go up against league rivals (or friends), the Props Fantasy community, or that rival from another league who you just can’t seem to beat. We can also do things like create rivalry weeks where side action becomes the norm and rivals are pitted against each other.
Find yourself out of the playoff action? Issue a challenge and look to cash in. One of the most appealing aspects of PropFantasy’s offering is that it allows you to use your team or teams to compete for cash all year long, regardless of where you may sit in the standings.
Interested in jumping on one of the many public challenges posted by other Props Fantasy users? Head to the lobby and browse through a wide variety of challenges to choose from.
Props Fantasy’s platform is optimized for the mobile experience and is one of the cleaner new entrants to the fantasy space. You can participate in free challenges to get a better feel for this exciting platform, and once you have, you can set challenges starting at as low as $1 and as high as $1,000.
Challenge Issued
Now that we have discussed the offering from Props Fantasy and have discussed some challenge ideas, we will create our first public challenge. For Week 10, I will be pulling the first place from two leagues that happen to be run by the same commissioner and have the same settings (outside of extended bench vs. taxi squad). The first place team in NBL is FantasyPros and QBList writer Paul Ghiglieri, the first place team in RBBC is FantasyPros and Rotballer writer Adam Koffler.

As we can see in the screenshot above, both teams had players play on Thursday night. In fact, they both had Lamar Jackson as their QB1. Paul also had Rashod Bateman play, who scored an extra three points due to recording three first downs. Paul may have to swap Chris Godwin out of his lineup but has both Chris Carson and Alex Collins on his bench.
This platform does not require you to pick a side when creating the challenge. Instead, we can wait until Sunday mornings’ inactives before deciding which team to pick. Both teams could very well make some lineup changes before game time, so it is probably best to wait for some more clarity on what the final lineups will look like. As it stands right now, both teams will be starting Darrell Williams, but as we can see above, Paul’s team is currently projected to pull out the victory. The platform seems to have eliminated the superflex slot, but it did so for both teams.
The key matchups appear to be Cooper Kupp vs. Amari Cooper, T.J. Hockenson vs. Travis Kelce, and James Robinson vs. Austin Ekeler. Paul has the slight edge in that department, at least according to projections. This should be an interesting head-to-head.
For those wondering about the steps to create or join this challenge, we got you covered. To create a challenge, you must first sync your fantasy profile at Yahoo or Sleeper. Once you do that, you click on the create challenge tab from the drop-down and select what league or leagues you wish the two teams to come from. Once you select the leagues, you confirm and then select which teams you want to pit head-to-head. You will then be asked to confirm. To join this challenge, simply click here and sign up for Props Fantasy.
