NFL DFS Week 10 Stacking Advice Strategy (2022 Fantasy Football)

Week 10 brings us a smaller slate due to the international game played in Germany. We also have an entire game between the Buffalo Bills and Minnesota Vikings up in the air due to a Josh Allen injury. On top of that, we lose the talent pool from Philadelphia, Los Angeles, and San Francisco due to primetime games. All of these facts mean we have to pinpoint with 100% accuracy the games we like to target and the stacks we want to build from those games. So let’s discuss a few avenues you should pursue when constructing your Sunday slate of DFS.

Patrick Mahomes + JuJu Smith-Schuster/ Travis Kelce + Travis Etienne + Christian Kirk (QB + WR/TE KC/ RB + WR Jax)

What can you genuinely say about Patrick Mahomes that hasn’t been said? The man is phenomenal. You always want a piece of his offense for your lineup. They are playing well now, and their OU is the highest on the slate. With Josh Allen possibly out, or at best injured, Patrick Mahomes is the guy this week. So let’s talk about who to pair him with on the Kansas City side of the offense.

With Mecole Hardman struggling with injury during practice this week and Kadarius Toney just coming into the fold, my focus shifts to JuJu and Travis Kelce. JuJu has had only one game under five targets this season; if you want to extrapolate the stat even further, he has only had two games under eight targets this season. Mahomes looks for JuJu Smith-Schuster almost as much as Travis Kelce in this offense.

Regarding Travis Kelce, what more can you ask for your tight-end position? He has recorded three games of ten or more targets and has never dipped below seven targets this season. Targeting these players is crucial to your lineups, as the Jaguars’ defense has struggled lately. Their defensive DVOA in weeks 5-9 is 29th in the NFL. As a result, expect the Chiefs to be able to move the ball freely on Sunday.

So how do we attack the bring-back options in the highest point total on the slate? Well, the best bets will lay with Travis Etienne and Christian Kirk.

Etienne has been a monster for your lineups the last three weeks, as he has scored more than 22 points (on Draftkings) in each of those weeks. He has seen over 20 carries in the previous two weeks. Etienne faces a defense allowing the running back to excel in the passing game. The Chiefs’ defense has allowed the most targets and receptions to running backs while allowing the fourth most receiving yards to running backs. This narrative fits right into the skill set that Etienne brings to the field, which should allow him to surpass the 19.2 fantasy points per game allowed by the Chiefs.

Christian Kirk is the final piece of the puzzle I would target in this game. The Chiefs have allowed the fourth most touchdowns to wide receivers, and Kirk has worked heavily in the Jaguars’ offense as he leads them in targets, receptions, and yards. You can swing at the fences with Zay Jones or Marvin Jones Jr.in tournaments, but Kirk is reliable in this game script.

Justin Fields + David Montgomery + Amon-Ra St. Brown (QB + RB Chi/ WR Det)

Justin Fields has been on fire lately. Last week, he paid considerable dividends to our lineups and helped us cash on the week nine slate. This week he gets the Detroit Lions’ defense, and you know the rule:

Target the Detroit Lions defense

This defense has allowed the ninth-most passing yards, fifth-most passing touchdowns, fourth-most rushing attempts, and yards by a quarterback, third-most rushing touchdowns, and the fifth-highest fantasy points per game to the position. As a result, Justin Fields should be an automatic play in your lineups.

Attaching David Montgomery to Justin Fields will be beneficial to your lineup. Excluding the game where David Montgomery suffered an injury, he has had 12 or more attempts in every game this season. Montgomery squares off against a defense, allowing the seventh-most rushing yards and second-most rushing touchdowns. With the Lions allowing 22.1 fantasy points per game, Montgomery should excel in this game and your lineup.

The Lions’ offense centers around one player, Amon-Ra St. Brown. A good friend of mine, Jordan Vanek, broke it down perfectly on Twitter:

Amon-Ra St. Brown lives in the slot, as 49 of his last 59 routes have been in the slot position in the previous two weeks. Outside of Jamaal Williams, Amon-Ra St. Brown is the only player who can elevate your lineup.

Tua Tagovailoa + Jaylen Waddle + Tyreek Hill (QB + WR + WR Mia)

This combination of Miami Dolphins players could be a slate-breaker by the end of this Sunday. We know the Dolphins’ offense can light up the scoreboard and crush the overs themselves. Tie in the fact that the Browns’ defense leans on zone coverage, and we could see the Dolphins have a big day in this game. It’s a little risky, but we know how electric these wide receivers can be within this offense that loves to hyper-target these two gentlemen. Did you know that Tyreek hill and Jaylen Waddle already have 100 and 69 targets this season? Did you know the next closest person on the offense is Mike Gesicki, with 32 targets? The Dolphins love their wide receivers, and so should you for your DFS lineup.
