While your fantasy football team is made up of a group of players from different teams, sometimes having a combination of players from the same team can be beneficial. This is sometimes referred to as “stacking.”
Specifically, stacking a quarterback and one of his receivers can take your team to a whole new level and lead you to a championship.
Patrick Mahomes/Travis Kelce, Joe Burrow/Ja’Marr Chase, Kirk Cousins/Justin Jefferson have recently been high-powered stacks that have garnered a lot of points. Those are the obvious ones, but here are others to look for in your fantasy lineup.

Quarterback/Receiver Stacks To Target This Year In Fantasy Football (2023)
Justin Fields (QB – CHI) & DJ Moore (WR – CHI)
Fields had a breakout fantasy season finishing as the QB6 with five top-five weekly finishes, including back-to-back as the top quarterback. Most of that was done with his legs, as he was the only quarterback with over 1,000 rushing yards and was second with eight rushing touchdowns.
Most of the blame for the lack of passing was because of the offensive line that was 23rd in pass rush stop rate and last in sack rate but made moves by signing former Titans guard Nate Davis and drafting Darnell Wright. The wide receivers weren’t any better, with 19 dropped passes, the 11th-most.
Moore has lived in quarterback mediocrity since losing Cam Newton. Last year with a mixture of Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold and P.J. Walker, he was 90th in catchable target rate and 92nd in target quality rate, according to PlayerProfiler.
Moore can stretch the field, which is the receiver Fields has been looking for.
