MLB DFS Picks & Underdog Player Props: Saturday (6/7)

We have very similar slates to choose from on both of the main DFS sites today. We are looking at the main slate on DraftKings, which begins at 2:05 p.m. ET. That slate includes seven games.

FanDuel has a slate that begins at the same time, but only includes six of those games. The difference is that FanDuel doesn’t include the Arizona and Cincinnati matchup. I avoided that game with the recommendations below.

MLB DFS Picks & Underdog Player Props: Sunday (6/7) | FantasyPros
PLAYER DraftKings Salary FanDuel Salary
Logan Webb $9,600 $10,300
Michael Wacha $6,500 $8,800
Mitchell Parker $6,000 $7,000
  • There are a few top options that stand out on this slate. The one that stands out to me the most is Logan Webb. He has a career-best strikeout rate, which is giving him a higher ceiling than we’ve seen from him before in DFS. Because of that, he has scored over 22 points on DraftKings (43 FanDuel points) in five of his last six games.
  • Michael Wacha has a career-best 2.88 ERA. Considering that it comes with a career-low strikeout rate, his ERA is likely to rise. That is unlikely to be today against the Chicago White Sox and their 82 wRC+ against right-handed pitchers. That is the second-worst mark in baseball. He seems very undervalued on DraftKings specifically.
  • Mitchell Parker is a left-handed pitcher. Today, he gets to take on the Texas Rangers, who have a bad offense against left-handed pitchers by wRC+. They also have the fourth-worst strikeout rate against left-handed pitchers (27.3%). A lack of strikeouts is the reason Parker is this cheap. He may be able to get a few more against the Rangers.

Suggested Lineup Stacks

Philadelphia Phillies Projected Lineup (6/7)

POS PLAYER DraftKings Salary FanDuel Salary
SS Trea Turner $5,900 $3,800
OF Kyle Schwarber $5,600 $4,200
1B Bryce Harper $6,000 $3,700
1B/3B Alec Bohm $3,900 $2,700
OF Nick Castellanos $4,000 $2,900
C J.T. Realmuto $3,500 $2,800
2B/3B/SS/OF (FD) Edmundo Sosa $3,300 $2,500
2B/SS (FD) Bryson Stott $4,500 $3,000
OF Johan Rojas $2,700 $2,400
  • The Philadelphia Phillies are matched up today with left-hander Andrew Heaney. He recently faced the Phillies in the middle of May. In that game, Heaney allowed only one earned run over five innings. That was despite eight baserunners allowed. The Phillies would still go on to win that game 8-4. The Phillies have a top-10 offense against left-handed pitchers by wRC+ and OPS.
  • I continue to be amazed by the production of Kyle Schwarber this season against left-handed pitchers. He has more home runs against left-handed pitchers in far fewer at-bats than he does against right-handed pitchers. A 1.108 OPS against left-handers makes him a must-start.
  • Bryce Harper hit a home run in his first game back from an elbow injury. That was off right-handed pitcher Bowden Francis. However, similarly to Schwarber, he has hit more home runs this season off left-handed pitchers. He has an .813 OPS against left-handed pitchers. Make sure that Harper is in the lineup as he sat yesterday. That’s likely the reason he is so affordable on FanDuel.
  • When looking at the more affordable options, Edmundo Sosa has been crushing left-handers this season. He has a .357 off left-handed pitchers this season. Sosa also has two career doubles against Heaney in just four at-bats.

Tampa Bay Rays Projected Lineup (6/7)

POS PLAYER DraftKings Salary FanDuel Salary
OF Josh Lowe $5,300 $3,400
2B Brandon Lowe $5,000 $3,100
1B Yandy Diaz $4,100 $2,900
1B Jonathan Aranda $4,500 $3,000
3B Junior Caminero $4,300 $3,400
OF Jake Mangum $3,700 $2,700
SS/2B/3B/OF (FD) Jose Caballero $3,800 $2,600
OF Kameron Misner $3,300 $2,600
C Danny Jansen $2,800 $2,400
  • Over the past two weeks, the Tampa Bay Rays have had the best wRC+ in all of baseball (129). They also have the most runs scored in that span with 77. Today, they get to take on the Miami Marlins.
  • Start your Rays stack with Junior Caminero. His turnaround since bringing his personal hitting coach, Jorge Mejia, to America has been well documented. Over the past two weeks, Caminero has 14 extra-base hits, including seven home runs. No qualified batter has a higher wRC+ in that span.
  • The other Rays hitter who has quickly turned around his season is Brandon Lowe. Over his last 13 games, he has 10 extra-base hits and five home runs. He has an OPS of 1.092 in that span.
  • If you are looking for a cheaper option, consider Danny Jansen at catcher. The Marlins’ expected starting pitcher is left-hander Ryan Weathers. Jansen has an .860 OPS against left-handed pitching this season.

Core Studs

POS PLAYER DraftKings Salary FanDuel Salary
3B Jose Ramirez $5,700 $3,500
SS Jeremy Pena $4,500 $3,200
OF Heliot Ramos $4,400 $3,400
  • Jose Ramirez was routinely a first-round pick in fantasy baseball drafts. Yet, it feels as if he is still somehow underappreciated. Over the last 30 days, his 219 wRC+ is second only to Aaron Judge. He has also chipped in nine stolen bases in this span. There are a lot of ways for him to deliver fantasy points.
  • Another player who has been on a recent tear is Jeremy Pena. He has two home runs and three stolen bases over the past week. If you stretch it to the last month, it’s four home runs and six stolen bases. That comes with a .370 batting average.
  • In his breakout season, Heliot Ramos feasted on left-handed pitching. He is still doing that, but has also shown improvement this season against right-handed pitching. Against right-handed pitchers this season, he has an .852 OPS, including nine home runs.

Value Plays/Punts

POS PLAYER DraftKings Salary FanDuel Salary
1B Vinnie Pasquantino $3,100 $2,700
SS Willy Adames $3,700 $2,900
OF Cam Smith $2,700 $2,500
  • Perhaps it was the call-up of Jac Caglianone, but Vinnie Pasquantino has come into his own lately. In his last three games, he is 6-for-13, including a home run yesterday.
  • Willy Adames’ first season in San Francisco has gotten off to an atrocious start. We are in early June, and he is still under the Mendoza Line. A matchup with Bryce Elder could be the start of a turnaround. Adames is 3-10 in his career against Elder with two home runs and a double.
  • Cam Smith sat out yesterday with an illness. If he is in the lineup, he could be a very cheap option who could provide some sneaky value. While Smith hasn’t hit a home run since April 18th, he has a 43.4% hard-hit rate over the past 30 days. That’s a top-20 mark in the league among qualified batters.

Saturday’s Top 3 Underdog Player Props

Andy Pages (OF – LAD): 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBI – Higher

Andy Pages has been one of the bigger breakout stars of 2025. Today, I think he can clear a combined 1.5 hits + runs + RBI in his matchup with Erick Fedde. He has exceeded this mark in 11 of his last 13 games.

Wyatt Langford (OF – DH – TEX): 0.5 Strikeouts — Higher

The Texas Rangers are taking on the Washington Nationals today. The Nationals are starting left-hander Mitchell Parker. He is not a big strikeout pitcher, but Wyatt Langford has been striking out at a high rate recently. He has struck out at least one time in 19 of his last 20 games and 26 of his last 28 games.

Logan Webb (SP – SF): 5.5 Strikeouts — Higher

Logan Webb’s strikeout number feels low at only 5.5 strikeouts. He missed that mark twice in a row in mid-May, but otherwise, he has exceeded 5.5 strikeouts in seven of his last nine starts. Today, he takes on a Braves team striking out 22.6% of the time.
