TL;DR Fantasy Football Week 11
Week 11 Byes: Indianapolis Colts, New Orleans Saints
Must-Know Quarterback Fantasy Football Stats
Jordan Love (QB – GB)
Jordan Love has failed to surpass 14 fantasy points in three of his last four games as the QB17 in fantasy points per game this season. Despite that fact, among 42 qualifying passers, Love still ranks 11th in passing yards per game, eighth in yards per attempt and passer rating and 13th in highly accurate throw rate and hero throw rate.
Love should return solid QB2 value this week, but I’ll be surprised if he manages more than that. Since Week 6, New York has allowed the 11th-most passing yards per game, the fifth-most passing touchdowns (tied) and ranks 16th in success rate per dropback and yards per attempt allowed.
Tua Tagovailoa (QB – MIA)
Plug your nose, close your eyes, take some Pepto-Bismol, do whatever it takes to stomach the possibility of putting Tua Tagovailoa in your lineup this week. Let’s start with why you might want to play him in Week 11. The Dolphins face the Commanders, who are allowing an average of 8.8 yards per pass attempt (most in the league) and an average of 311.3 passing yards per game over their last three games (second-most in the league). End of list.
The bad? Tagovailoa has only finished as a top-15 quarterback twice this season. In 40% of his games, he has finished outside of the top 24 at the position. That includes finishing as the QB34 in Week 7. There are 32 teams in the NFL, and two teams were on bye that week. The Dolphins are also averaging the seventh-fewest passing yards per game. With that all said, they are playing the Commanders. Tagovailoa could have a good week in a favorable matchup, but we have also seen the Dolphins bottom out.
Must-Know Running Back Fantasy Football Stats
Jaylen Warren (RB – PIT)
Jaylen Warren is set to crush this week. The last time he played Cincinnati, he had 20 touches and turned them into 158 total yards as the RB7 for the week. Warren is the RB18 in fantasy points per game, averaging 17 touches and 86 total yards.
Among 64 qualifying backs, Warren ranks sixth in missed tackle rate and 15th in yards after contact per attempt. Since Week 6, the Bengals have allowed the most rushing yards per game, the third-highest explosive run rate, the fourth-highest missed tackle rate and the second-most yards after contact per attempt.
Saquon Barkley (RB – PHI)
Saquon Barkley had his best performance this season before the Eagles’ Week 9 bye, totaling 14 rushing attempts for 150 yards and a touchdown, plus four receptions for 24 receiving yards and another touchdown against his former team, scoring 33.4 PPR fantasy points. Unfortunately, he had been a fantasy disappointment before that matchup, averaging 44.2 rushing yards and 11.7 fantasy points per game over the previous five contests, scoring 9.5 points or fewer in 60% of the outings. More importantly, the former Penn State star struggled against the Green Bay Packers on Monday night.
Despite having 25 touches, Barkley finished with only 101 scrimmage yards, zero touchdowns and 13.1 fantasy points. Furthermore, he needed a 41-yard reception in the fourth quarter to score double-digit fantasy points against the Packers. Meanwhile, the Lions have one of the top run defenses in the NFL, holding running backs to 16.5 fantasy points per game, the second-fewest in the league. They have surrendered 71 rushing yards and 14.7 fantasy points per game to running backs over the past six weeks, allowing only one rushing touchdown during that stretch.
Rico Dowdle (RB – CAR)
Rico Dowdle operated as a full-fledged workhorse, playing 78% of the offensive snaps and handling 18 carries for 53 yards and a touchdown. He added three receptions for 10 yards on three targets, showing involvement in both early downs and passing situations.
Despite inefficient rushing (2.9 yards per carry), Dowdle dominated usage — Chuba Hubbard played just three carries and four total touches — confirming that Dowdle is Carolina’s clear lead back. His red-zone role also remains secure, having handled all of the Panthers’ goal-line work.
Must-Know Wide Receiver Fantasy Football Stats
Jaylen Waddle (WR – MIA)
The Commanders might have the worst secondary in the league. Over their last four games, they have allowed an average of 303 passing yards and 3.2 passing touchdowns per game. This has correlated to 218.5 yards and 1.8 receiving touchdowns for opposing wideouts over that span. Considering Jaylen Waddle is by far the most talented receiver on the Dolphins’ roster, there will be plenty of opportunities for him to come through with a big performance.
This game is in Madrid, which could add another dynamic to this matchup. However, on paper, neither defense should be able to stop the opposing offenses. Waddle has topped 80 receiving yards in five of his last six games and scored three touchdowns over that span. Against this Commanders defense, even Tua Tagovailoa should be able to air it out all game. Waddle is primed to start your Sunday morning off with a bang.
Tez Johnson (WR – TB)
Seventh-round rookie (No. 235 overall) Tez Johnson has stepped up in the absence of Chris Godwin and Mike Evans, solidifying himself as the clear No. 2 WR behind Emeka Egbuka. Coming out of the bye, Johnson played on a career-high 82.6% of the Buccaneers’ offensive snaps, while running a route on 86.7% of Baker Mayfield‘s dropbacks.
Johnson caught four passes on five targets for 42 yards and two touchdowns. His 20.2 PPR points in Week 10 were 10th among all wide receivers, even with Egbuka outscoring him on the same team. As long as Godwin and Evans are out, Johnson should continue to see his role grow in one of the better offenses in the league.
Jameson Williams (WR – DET)
Jameson Williams is coming off his best game of the season against Washington, grabbing six out of seven targets for 119 yards and a touchdown. His 23.9 PPR performance was good for WR2 overall in Week 10. Williams has now scored 16+ PPR points in three of his past four games, giving us a nice sell window to take advantage of.
The lack of volume Williams sees gives him an incredibly low floor. While he’s had four games this year with 16+ PPR points, he’s also had five games with fewer than seven PPR points. According to PlayerProfiler, Williams is sitting with just a 14.7% target rate (WR88) and 1.45 yards per route run (WR63). This is who Williams has always been. The inconsistency is frankly not worth the headache.
Must-Know Tight End Fantasy Football Stats
Luke Musgrave (TE – GB)
Luke Musgrave will assume the full-time tight end role for Green Bay with Tucker Kraft out for the rest of the season. This season, Musgrave has had only a 23% route share, a 16% target per route run rate and 1.40 yards per route run, per Fantasy Points Data. I don’t want to stream Musgrave this week, but in Week 12, he is definitely on the streamer radar. Over the last five weeks, Minnesota has allowed the seventh-most schedule-adjusted fantasy points per game to tight ends.
Trey McBride (TE – ARI)
It turns out that Kyler Murray was the source of Trey McBride‘s early-career touchdown allergy. McBride scored seven touchdowns in his first 54 NFL games, mostly with Murray as his quarterback. But with Murray sidelined by a foot injury, Jacoby Brissett has been the Cardinals’ starting quarterback for their last four games, and it’s been a touchdown jubilee for McBride. Brissett has thrown eight touchdown passes in his four starts, and McBride has caught five of them.
In fairness to Murray, he helped McBride turn into one of the league’s most prolific yardage gainers at the tight end position. McBride had 1,146 receiving yards in 2024. McBride is still racking up receptions and gaining yardage at a furious clip. He’s averaging 6.8 catches and 67 receiving yards per game, putting him on pace for a 115-catch, 1,139-yard season.
But what can McBride do this Sunday against an injury-riddled 49ers defense with Marvin Harrison Jr. out of action? Harrison needed surgery on Monday night due to appendicitis. Sunday will be the first time that the second-year receiver has missed an NFL game. With Harrison out, the Cardinals’ top two wide receivers will be Michael Wilson and Greg Dortch, who have combined for 37 catches and 304 yards this season.
The 49ers-Cardinals game could be an all-you-can-eat target buffet for McBride.
