History was made on Sunday when Cam Little of the Jacksonville Jaguars hit a 68-yard field goal try in the closing seconds of the first half against the Raiders in Las Vegas. Little, who made a 70-yard try in the preseason, showcased his strong leg in a regular-season game and is now part of the record books.
From a fantasy football perspective, Little has been somewhat of a disappointment, with five consecutive games of fewer than 10 fantasy points, including a -1 point showing against the Seahawks in Week 6.

Little’s 76% field goal rate is well below his rookie showing of 93% in 2024, and he has struggled with accuracy on kicks longer than 40 yards.
It appeared Little’s time in the record books as the only man ever to make a 68-yard try would last only a day, as Brandon Aubrey lined up to make his own record-tying kick on Monday Night Football. Aubrey had plenty of distance, but he pulled the ball to the left, leaving Little alone at the top for at least another week.
Fantasy Football Kicker Rankings & Start/Sit Advice: Week 10
Widely Available Kickers With Strong Week 9 Performances
Michael Badgley (K – IND) @ Pittsburgh: 55% Roster Percentage on Yahoo
There was little that went well for the Colts on Sunday, with the Steelers’ defense finally playing up to its potential and forcing a whopping six turnovers. Jonathan Taylor and Daniel Jones each had a bad game, but kicker Michael Badgley came through for fantasy managers, with 12 fantasy points fueled by a pair of 50-yard tries.
Will Reichard (K – MIN) @ Detroit: 15% Roster Percentage on Yahoo
The game script did not look promising for Will Reichard and the Vikings in their road matchup against the Lions. We did not know which J.J. McCarthy would show up.
The one who came back with a monster fourth quarter against the Bears, or the other one who struggled mightily before leaving with an ankle injury. It proved to be the former, and the Vikings shocked the Lions with a 27-24 win, and Reichard was the beneficiary with 11 fantasy points.
Widely Rostered Kickers With Dud Week 9 Performances
Brandon Aubrey (K – DAL) @ Denver: 100% Roster Percentage on Yahoo
I hate to pick on Brandon Aubrey, but it is deserved and not so much on his shoulders. The Cowboys’ coaching staff should have gone for a field goal that would have cut the lead to two scores; instead, they went for it and failed, leaving Aubrey with just one field goal made and a long 68-yard try sailing wide right.
Five fantasy points from someone like Aubrey feels like a goose egg from other kickers.

*Red Zone Efficiency is based on the inverse of how well the kicker’s offense does in the red zone. For example, the Ravens rank 23rd in red zone efficiency; therefore, Tyler Loop has an RZ EFF score of nine. The lower the number, the better for kickers, as playing on a team that struggles to score touchdowns in the red zone equates to more field goal opportunities.
**The K Score is the sum of a player’s opponent red zone, the red-zone efficiency of his offense and the overall rank of his respective team in terms of total yards. A low score indicates that a kicker has variables working in his favor for a good fantasy kicking performance.
Kicker rankings are based on numerous factors, including matchups, Vegas lines and score projections, weather conditions, the ability of a kicker’s team offense and their ability to move the ball into field goal range, offensive red-zone efficiency and how well the opposing defense limits touchdowns in the red zone. These factors are a guide, but not a definitive way to predict kicking success, as other variables and negative game scripts significantly impact the outcome.
Based on all of the variables mentioned above, the following two kickers are players ranked outside of FantasyPros’ top-10 expert consensus rankings (ECR) at the kicker position who could be excellent plays in Week 10.
Week 10 Standout Kickers
Matt Prater (K – BUF) @ Miami: 19% Roster Percentage on Yahoo
One of Matt Prater’s knocks is that, despite having a big leg, he has not always been the most accurate. Just like we saw last week against the Chiefs, he had missed kicks and has a career mark of 83%.
That said, Prater should have more than a few extra points in what looks to be a lopsided win for Buffalo, giving him a solid floor with a chance for two or three field goals in garbage time.
Brandon McManus (K – GB) vs. Philadelphia: 9% Roster Percentage on Yahoo
Although he did not come through with a top-10 finish, Brandon McManus did attempt three field goals on Sunday and should get similar results on Sunday night against the Eagles.
Prediction Review
Each week, I suggest two kickers ranked outside the FantasyPros ECR top 10 who I believe will be solid performers based on the variables described in the K Score section. The following is a review of my picks from the previous week to see where I was successful and where I missed the mark.
Wil Lutz (K – DEN) @ Houston: 82% Roster Percentage on Yahoo
- ECR Rank: K11
- My Rank: K14
- Week 9 Finish: K25
A missed 50-yard try kept Wil Lutz from a 10-point day and a top-12 finish among fantasy kickers in what turned out to be a low-scoring week for kickers across the board.
The projected game script of a low-scoring game proved to be correct, but it was Ka’imi Fairbairn of the Texans who put up a week-leading 18 fantasy points, while Lutz managed just four.
Brandon McManus (K – GB) vs. Carolina: 9% Roster Percentage on Yahoo
- ECR Rank: K22
- My Rank: K12
- Week 9 Finish: K13
Brandon McManus missed a 45-yard attempt that would have given him 11 points on the day and a top-five finish. The Score predicts kicker attempts and not kicker success, and in this case, three field goal tries and an extra point should have been more than enough for McManus to be a strong fantasy play.
