Anthony Rendon blasts three homers in an onslaught of the Mets
by Nicolas Wilcox | Angels Correspondent | Mon, May 1st 12:04am EDT
Anthony Rendon went 6-for-6 with three homers and 10 RBI as the Nationals destroyed the Mets 23-5 on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact:
Rendon's average went from .221 to .278 and tripling his RBI total from five to 15. After a horrible April, Rendon ends it with bang. Rendon's is the first 10-RBI game in the majors since the Angels' Garret Anderson had one Aug. 21, 2007 against the Yankees. He appears to be just the third player ever with six hits and 10 RBI in a game, joining Jim Bottomley (1924) and Walker Cooper (1949).
