Fantasy Impact:
Fried has some fluid buildup in his left index finger following Thursday's start against the Nationals, and while the ailment doesn't sound serious, he will not pitch again in the regular season in an effort to keep him healthy for the playoffs. The left-hander also missed significant time with a forearm issue this season while he has pitched to a tidy 2.55 ERA across his 14 starts on the campaign.
