Ort opened the season on the 15-day IL with a left oblique strain but is trending toward a return. He's expected to pitch Friday night, and if all goes well, he could be activated as soon as this weekend or early next week. In 5.1 innings with Triple-A Sugar Land, he's posted a 3.38 ERA and 1.87 WHIP with four strikeouts.
