Carlos Narvaez to undergo minor knee surgery

Boston Red Sox chief baseball officer Craig Breslow said Carlos Narvaez will undergo arthroscopic surgery this week to repair the meniscus in his left knee. (Chris Cotillo on Twitter)

After a strong first half in which he slashed .273/.347/.439, Narvaez struggled in the second half with a .187/.233/.387 line, suggesting the injury may have developed after the All-Star break. It’s a minor procedure, so he’s expected to be ready for the start of the 2026 regular season.
