Brandon Lowe has 2026 option exercised

The Tampa Bay Rays will retain Brandon Lowe for the 2026 season after exercising his $11.5 million club option on Thursday.
Fantasy Impact:
The 2026 season will be a walk year for the 31-year-old, who could become a trade candidate if Tampa Bay is not in contention at the deadline. Lowe is coming off a 2025 campaign in which he slashed .256/.307/.477 with 31 home runs and 83 RBI.
