Lux (lower body) hit .269/.350/.374 with five home runs and 53 RBI across 503 plate appearances for Cincinnati last season. He is projected to serve as Tampa Bay's primary second baseman when healthy in 2026. (Marc Topkin)

General soreness has kept him from appearing in games. His activity level at camp is increasing, and his Grapefruit League debut is at least one week away. Lux's availability for Opening Day does not appear to be at risk.
