Cade Horton allowed two runs on four hits in 6.1 innings on Saturday as the Cubs defeated the Nationals, 10-2. Horton walked one and struck out four to earn the victory.
Fantasy Impact:
Last year's runner up in the National League Rookie of the Year voting, Horton picked up where he left off by pitching into the seventh inning in his first start of the year. The righthander needed only 75 pitches - 53 of which were strikes - to earn the win. Horton went 11-4 with a 2.67 ERA in his rookie season last year and he's tentatively scheduled to make his next start on the road in Cleveland next week.
