Seiya Suzuki (knee) to begin rehab assignment this week

Cubs manager Craig Counsell told reporters Seiya Suzuki will begin a minor league rehab assignment later this week. (Patrick Mooney on Twitter)

Suzuki opened the season on the injured list with a right knee sprain. He figures to require several appearances before he is activated.
