Nico Hoerner went 3-for-5 with a run scored, two doubles, an RBI, and a stolen base to lift the Cubs to a 6-2 victory over the Angels on Wednesday.

Hoerner doubled twice off of Los Angeles starter, Yusei Kikuchi, and added a single for his first multi-hit game of the season. Hoerner has now recorded a hit in each of the last five games and is now batting .318 (7-for-22) with five runs scored, four doubles, and three RBI. His stolen base on Wednesday was his fourth of the season, tying him with Milwaukee's David Hamilton and Colorado's Jake McCarthy for the most in baseball.
