Chris Paddack pitches 4.2 innings out of bullpen Sunday

by Nicholas Rodriguez | Marlins Correspondent | Mon, Apr 6th 4:46am EDT

Chris Paddack allowed one unearned run on three hits and four walks while striking out four across 4.2 innings out of the bullpen in Sunday’s 7-6 victory over the New York Yankees.

Fantasy Impact:

Paddack was originally slated to start, but after a lengthy rain delay, the team turned to Pete Fairbanks so he could leave Yankee Stadium early to join his wife for the birth of their fourth child on Monday. Paddack instead worked out of the bullpen, navigating four walks while avoiding any earned runs. He now owns an 8.31 ERA and 1.73 WHIP through two appearances and will look to build on this outing in his next scheduled start on Friday against the Detroit Tigers.
