Daniel Palencia (lat) yet to begin throwing program

Cubs manager Craig Counsell mentioned earlier in the week that Palencia could begin a throwing program before the end of the team's homestand, which ended Thursday, but that did not happen. He continues to recover, and there is no clear timeline yet for when he will begin throwing. The good news is that he is dealing with a mild lat strain and is expected to return in May.
