Kenley Jansen blows save Friday versus Reds

by Brenton Kemp | Tigers Correspondent | Sat, Apr 25th 11:41am EDT

Tigers closer Kenley Jansen blew a save in Friday's 9-8 loss to the Reds.

Fantasy Impact:

Jansen came on in the ninth after the Tigers gained an 8-7 lead thanks to a pair of home runs in the eighth inning, but blew his second save in eight tries on a Nathaniel Lowe two-run, walk-off home run with two outs in the ninth. The long ball snapped Jansen's streak of six straight scoreless outings as they were his first earned runs surrendered since March 31. The right-hander now sports a 3.68 ERA through nine outings for the Tigers this season.
