Kerry Carpenter clubs two-run homer in loss to the Reds Friday

Tigers outfielder Kerry Carpenter hit a two-run home run during Friday's 9-8 loss to the Reds.
Fantasy Impact:
Carpenter's clutch two-run homer in the top of the eighth gave the Tigers an 8-7 lead, which evaporated on Nathaniel Lowe's two-run walk-off homer in the bottom of the ninth. The long ball was his sixth of the season and third over his last seven games, despite not starting in three of those games, including Friday's contest. After an ice-cold start, the left-handed slugger has raised his slash line to .221/.321/.500 with six homers, 15 RBI, and an .821 OPS through 81 trips to the plate.
