Gregory Soto locks down second save of season

Gregory Soto pitched a scoreless ninth inning on Wednesday for his second save of the season as the Pirates blanked the Diamondbacks, 1-0.
Fantasy Impact:
Soto got the call to preserve a one-run lead in the ninth and, while he did allow a one-out walk to Geraldo Perdomo, he slammed the door on Arizona. The lefthander has a 1.50 ERA and two saves in 18 appearances this season. Soto has allowed only six hits in 18 innings (.102 opponents batting average) and has a 24:7 K:BB ratio. With Dennis Santana struggling to a 20.25 ERA over his last three outings, Soto may have reclaimed the lead in the clubhouse for the closer's role in Pittsburgh.
