Geraldo Perdomo provides lone offense Monday
by David Leisering | Diamondbacks Correspondent | Tue, May 12th 12:17am EDT
Geraldo Perdomo went 2-for-4 with an RBI double as the Diamondbacks defeated the Rangers, 1-0.
Fantasy Impact:
Perdomo drove home the only run of the game in the top of the first on Monday, plating Corbin Carroll with an RBI double. He added a single in the eighth for his first two-hit game since May 1. Perdomo entered Monday's game on a 1-for-17 skid in his previous five games and has struggled for a majority of the season. After a career-year last season (.290, 20 HR, 100 RBI, 27 SB), Perdomo is hitting just .228 with two home runs, 12 RBI, and six stolen bases in 37 games this season.
