Tigers outfielder Matt Vierling went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in a 3-2 win over the Blue Jays on Friday.
Fantasy Impact:
Vierling had a quiet night at the plate until the bottom of the ninth, when he singled, stole second base, and scored on Spencer Torkelson's walk-off hit into the right-center field gap. Despite possessing some speed, Vierling has swiped just two bases on the season and is slashing a rather poor .202/.274/.346 with two homers across 117 trips to the plate.
