Ian Seymour picks up save Wednesday
by Nicholas Rodriguez | Rays Correspondent | Wed, May 20th 9:31pm EDT
Ian Seymour tossed a perfect 1-2-3 ninth inning in Wednesday’s 5-3 win over the Baltimore Orioles to secure his second save of the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Seymour was tasked with facing the top of the Orioles lineup on Wednesday and needed just nine pitches to record a lineout and two groundouts in a clean ninth inning. Bryan Baker, Tampa Bay’s regular closer, received the day off after pitching in three of the team’s previous four games. Seymour now owns a 4.81 ERA and 1.19 WHIP across 24.1 innings this season.
