Steven Matz allowed one run on three hits and two walks while striking out five across four innings in Wednesday's 5-3 win over the Baltimore Orioles.
Fantasy Impact:
Matz returned from the 15-day injured list on Wednesday after missing time with elbow inflammation and was able to work through four innings on 67 pitches. He showed no signs of rust in his return outing and has now allowed two earned runs or fewer in three straight starts. Matz owns a 3.70 ERA and 1.11 WHIP with 33 strikeouts across 41.1 innings this season. His next scheduled outing is on Monday in a rematch against the Baltimore Orioles.
