Esteury Ruiz went 2-for-3 with a double, a triple, two runs scored and one stolen base in Friday's 2-1 win over the New York Mets.

Ruiz drew the start on Friday despite right-hander Tobias Myers being on the mound and delivered a big performance for the Miami Marlins. He was the only player on the team to record multiple hits, with both going for extra bases, and he scored both of Miami’s runs in the process.
