Jake McCarthy went 2-for-6 with a double, a run scored, and a stolen base on Friday as the Rockies suffered a 9-7, 10-inning loss to the Brewers.
Fantasy Impact:
McCarthy doubled, stole third, and scored in the bottom of the first to get the Rockies on the scoreboard. It was his 11th double of the year and his 11th stolen base of the season. McCarthy is batting .355 (11-for-31) with eight runs scored, two home runs, seven RBI, and two stolen bases over his last seven games. He's up to .286 with four home runs, 26 RBI, and 11 steals through 53 games this year. He's worth taking a chance on, especially since he has moved into the leadoff spot for a much-improved Colorado offense.
