Colin Rea suffers loss in bulk relief role Sunday

Colin Rea suffered the loss on Sunday after he allowed four runs on six hits, walked three, and struck out two over 4.2 innings in a bulk relief outing.
Fantasy Impact:
Rea followed Ryan Rolison, who served as the Cubs' opener and who needed only 11 pitches to retire all four batters he faced. Rea did not fare as well as he was charged with the loss after allowing four runs and ten baserunners (six hits, three walks, one hit batter). The righthander has struggled of late, going 0-2 with a 7.98 ERA and a 7:8 K:BB ratio in three appearances this month. With Matthew Boyd (knee) scheduled to resume throwing this week, Rea looks like he may be the odd man out of the rotation after Boyd returns - unless he can turn things around soon.
