Sean Burke allowed one earned run on four hits while striking out nine over seven innings in a win over the Athletics.

Burke continues a strong stretch on the mound of late, allowing two earned runs or less in each of his last five trips to the mound. The right-hander remains one of the more stable options in the White Sox rotation for manager Will Venable, carrying a 3.41 ERA and 1.17 WHIP with a 6-4 record and 9.8 K/9 ratio through 19 appearances.
