Brandon Young allowed three earned runs on eight hits and one walk while striking out five over seven innings in Friday's win over the Royals.

He now owns a 3.42 ERA and 1.35 WHIP with a 7-2 record across 15 starts. Despite not earning the win, Young was solid outside of the two home runs allowed. He will be a prominent piece of the Orioles’ rotation after he All-Star break.
