Nathan Eovaldi was placed on the 15-day injured list on Monday with right posterior elbow inflammation. (Texas Rangers PR on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Eovaldi is hitting the shelf for the first time this season with an elbow issue. The right-hander has a 4.21 ERA and 137 strikeouts in 132 2/3 innings this year, and his timetable for return is currently unknown. Ben Peoples was recalled in a corresponding move.
