Hornets GM Mitch Kupchak told reporters on a conference call that SG Malik Monk has been reinstated from his indefinite suspension for violating the NBA’s anti-drug policy back in February. (Malika Andrews on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Monk was having the best year of his career before the suspension came down from the NBA on February 26. In 55 games, he averaged 10.3 points per game. Unfortunately for Monk and the Hornets, they haven’t been invited to participate in the remainder of the 2019-20 NBA season as they were too far out of the eighth-seed in the playoffs. Monk should be fully available for the 2020-21 regular season.
