De'Aaron Fox scores 13 points in blowout loss

by Dan Titus | Kings Correspondent | Mon, Aug 3rd 4:14am EDT

Fresh off a new career-high on Friday, De'Aaron Fox fell back to earth against the Magic, producing 13 points (5-10 FG, 0-1 3PT, 3-5 FT) and chipping in three assists, two rebounds, and one steal across 25 minutes in a 132-116 loss to the Magic on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact:

Fox scored 39 points in his bubble debut, so anyone looking for a repeat performance was sorely disappointed in this outcome. The Magic had a considerable lead from the first quarter, which prevented the starters from receiving their usual minutes. The Kings are in the thick of the playoff hunt, and Fox will continue to be the focal point of the offense for the remainder of the season. Fox will look to rebound against the Mavericks on Tuesday. He is averaging 20.7 points, 6.7 assists, and 4.0 rebounds in 49 games this year.
