There isn’t much in the way of superstars with Giannis Antetokounmpo going against the Spurs and Russell Westbrook as the only true stars on the slate. There is, however, enough value that we can afford to spend up on a handful of the safest plays on the slate. Let’s take a look at how it all comes together.

Point Guard
Damian Lillard (POR): $10,000 vs BKN
Don’t pass on the opportunity to pick on the Nets and their terrible defense. They are the easiest team in the league for both point guards and shooting guards so make sure to start your lineup with Lillard and McCollum, who should both shred value on their way to their 114 point implied total.
Kemba Walker (CHA): $7,700 @ BOS
Boston has a quality defense once again this year, but they haven’t been particularly impressive this season against point guards. Now, Kemba isn’t exactly the most consistent player, but he has been playing well of late with 37.3 fantasy points per game in his last 7 contests. For those of you keeping track at home, that 37.3 figure is extremely close to the 5x value we are looking for in cash games.

Shooting Guard
CJ McCollum (POR): $7,300 vs BKN
If you have to choose between Lillard and McCollum, go with McCollum who is the best value at any position on the slate. With that said, there is no sense in fading Lillard in cash games tonight. CJ’s ownership should be around 70% in cash games after his 36 point, 47 FanDuel point explosion Tuesday night against the Grizzlies, and for good reason, as the Nets should allow him back beyond that 5x range.
Lou Williams (LAC): $5,500 @ OKC
Over the years, Williams has established himself as one of the most consistent cash game players in the NBA. He never flops for a 3x kind of night, and while his ceiling isn’t much to speak of, he often hits 5x value. Tonight, he gets the Thunder so he should see extra value on offense, plus the Clippers have been playing him more minutes over the last few games than they did to begin the season.
Small Forward
DeMarre Carroll (BKN): $5,300 @ POR
Tuesday night against the Nuggets, Carroll crushed DFS players with a total turd performance. Prior to then, he posted 25, 31 and 35 FanDuel points in three contests when the Nets finally gave him over 30 minutes. Tonight, he should bounce back to that type of production against the Blazers, who Vegas implied to surrender 105+ to the Nets tonight.
Lance Stephenson (IND): $3,600 @ CHI
The Pacers have been giving Stephenson more minutes over the past week and he has delivered for the brave souls who were willing to use him in DFS. Tonight, he needs just 17 FanDuel points to hit value, and seeing that he has averaged 19.3 over his past four games with no fewer than 15.1 in that time, he seems like a safe bet who will enable us to spend up on those Blazers’ guards.
Power Forward
Blake Griffin (LAC): $8,400 @ OKC
With Chris Paul out of town, Griffin has taken on an expanded role and has performed well in it. Over his past three games, he has hit value twice, and the one downer was against the Spurs, where everyone falters. Pushing it even further back, Griffin has at least 42 FanDuel points in 6 of 10 games. We can expect more of the same in an up-tempo contest against the gunnin’ Thunder tonight.
Marquese Chriss (PHO): $3,800 vs ORL
The athletic youngster is expected to draw another start tonight versus the Magic after posting 26.3 FanDuel points in 25 minutes Wednesday evening. This should be a fast-paced game, as the over/under is 225.5, which bodes well for Chriss’ style of game. He needs just 19 FanDuel points to hit value, and averages 18.4 despite having spent most of the year seeing just 15 minutes per contest.
Center
Nikola Vucevic (ORL): $8,400 @ PHO
I’m tempted to use another Blazer here in Jusuf Nurkic, who could go bonkers on the Nets tonight, but Vucevic has proven to be safer this season, plus he also has a killer matchup with a high over/under and implied total. He has been cruising lately with 87 FanDuel points over his last two games and over the course of the season, he has flashed significant upside.
