5 Players I Like More Than ECR
James Robinson: With no Urban Meyer to unnecessarily bench Robinson if he fumbles, it’s wheels up in this matchup against the Texans. He’s RB19 in ECR and RB13 in my rankings.
Michael Carter: Carter’s expected to be cleared off of IR and receive a significant workload this week. He’s RB33 in ECR and RB25 in my rankings.
DeVante Parker: With Jaylen Waddle unlikely to make it back for this matchup, Parker’s a smash start. He’s WR26 in ECR and WR20 in my rankings.
Gabriel Davis: There’s the potential that this ECR rises by the time people adjust to Emmanuel Sanders being out, but Davis is in a smash spot this week with how much he’s involved in the red zone. He’s WR42 in ECR and WR32 in my rankings.
Justin Fields: Fields has finished as a top-10 QB in each of his past three full starts, and he gets to take on a porous Minnesota Vikings defense. He’s QB16 in ECR and QB11 in my rankings.
5 Players I Like Less Than ECR
Antonio Gibson: This offense in Washington will be rough with the QB situation, and there’s no guarantee that Taylor Heinicke or Kyle Allen will be back in time, even with the later date. Gibson might see plenty of work, but what’s the upside? He’s RB13 in ECR and RB20 in my rankings.
Rashaad Penny: Penny performed incredibly well against the Texans, but this is a much tougher matchup. With better options available at the RB position, Penny is at RB29 in my rankings versus RB29 in ECR.
Deebo Samuel: Are you still starting Samuel? Yes. However, WR6 is insanely aggressive for a player who only sees 8-10 touches per week as an RB. He’s WR12 in my rankings.
Marquise Brown: Brown was this low to begin with, but the news that Lamar Jackson is unlikely to play makes me very concerned with Brown’s outlook. He’s WR20 in ECR and WR27 in my rankings.
Dalton Schultz: Schultz just hasn’t been as productive lately as we’ve thought, and he has plenty of other competition for targets in this offense. He’s TE8 in ECR and TE11 in my rankings.
5 Receiver/Cornerback Matchups to Watch
AJ Green/Saivion Smith: Smith hasn’t logged a single snap this season. Green’s a solid FLEX play.
Jakobi Meyers/Kenny Moore: Moore’s been fantastic this season, and Meyers might not have as much room to operate here.
Jerry Jeudy/Mike Hilton: Hilton’s been dominant out of the slot this year for Cincinnati. Jeudy’s going to have a tough time in this one.
Amon-Ra St. Brown/Byron Murphy: Murphy’s been great this year, but St. Brown should be peppered with targets. Which one will win out?
Mike Evans/Marshon Lattimore: This is just must-watch tv every time it happens.
