NFL DFS Cash Game Lineup Advice & Picks (Week 12)

Welcome to Week 12. The DFS slate features plenty of rivalry matchups with divisional placements on the line. The bad teams have shown us enough by now that we know who we can trust and who we can speculate on.

These are the best picks for DFS cash games (double-ups and multipliers) for Week 12.

Week 12 DFS Cash Game Advice & Picks

Quarterbacks

Anthony Richardson (QB – ARI) vs. Lions | DraftKings: $5,600/FanDuel: $7,500

After a few weeks riding the bench, Anthony Richardson returned to the starting quarterback role and put up a career-high 80.3 passing grade, according to Pro Football Focus (PFF). The Colts seemed to have fresh ideas about how to use Richardson giving him a season-high 10 designed rushes, more than any other quarterback this season.

Richardson also completed a season-high 20 passes on 30 attempts against the Jets. The Lions are a strong defense but they’ve allowed five different signal-callers to rush for 29+ yards, including Sam Darnold, Geno Smith and Mason Rudolph, which bodes well for Richardson, who is a better athlete than those three.

Jayden Daniels (QB – WAS) vs. Cowboys | DraftKings: $7,000/FanDuel: $9,000

This may be a bit of a trap game for Jayden Daniels with him being the QB21 since Week 8 and managing only 10 rushes for 23 yards in the last two games, but it’s also hard to deny the ceiling he has for fantasy purposes. Having played on Thursday in Week 11, the extra rest should have helped.

The Cowboys look ready to give up on the season, ranking 29th against the pass in DVOA (defense-adjusted value over average) and having allowed the fifth-most quarterback fantasy points. The Cowboys have also allowed three different passers to rush for 56+ yards against them.

Geno Smith (QB – SEA) vs. Cardinals | DraftKings: $5,700/FanDuel: $7,400

Geno Smith hasn’t delivered as many passing touchdowns as we’d like with only two multi-touchdown games, but it hasn’t stopped him from being a top-10 quarterback in six different games.

The Seahawks look like they’re finally trusting Jaxon Smith-Njigba downfield, allowing them to be more multiple than in previous matchups, moving DK Metcalf around more and having a more creative offense in general. With the NFC West on the line, this game should provide plenty of fantasy points.

Running Backs

Christian McCaffrey (RB – SF) @ Packers | DraftKings: $8,500/FanDuel: $9,500

It’s been a difficult year for those who rostered Christian McCaffrey in fantasy with him missing nine games and having yet to score more than 16 PPR points, but on DFS sites, the price keeps creeping up as they, like us, know the bigger performances are coming.

In McCaffrey’s Week 10 return, he managed a miserable 3.0 yards per carry. In Week 11, that number jumped to 4.2 with him starting to dust the rust off. The 12 targets in two games is a reminder of how multiple McCaffrey can be. The Packers rank 18th against the run and have allowed six different backs to record three or more receptions. On a week with middling wide receiver values, it feels better to pay up at running back.

De’Von Achane (RB – MIA) vs. Patriots | DraftKings: $7,500/FanDuel: $9,100

Since Tua Tagovailoa‘s return, De’Von Achane has been a top-six running back in three out of four games, scoring touchdowns in all but one. In games Tagovailoa has started this year, Achane has scored over 20 points in all but one. His 19.7% target share has been a big help in this.

The Patriots have allowed the 10th-most fantasy points to running backs and rank 28th in run defense DVOA, allowing nine different rushers to hit 80+ total yards against them.

Brian Robinson Jr. (RB – WAS) vs. Cowboys | DraftKings: $5,600/FanDuel: $7,900

In the 10 games the Dallas Cowboys have played this year, they’ve allowed top-10 weekly finishes in seven of them including an RB1 overall performance to Joe Mixon last week.

The Cowboys have allowed a league-high 14 rushing touchdowns from inside the 10-yard line. Those touches near the end zone still belong to Brian Robinson Jr. when he plays.

James Conner (RB – ARI) @ Seahawks | DraftKings: $6,500/FanDuel: $7,700

Over his last seven games, James Conner has 100 total yards in five. He has averaged 17.3 PPR points in the last four games. The Seahawks allow the 11th-most running back fantasy points and have struggled against pass-catching backs like Christian McCaffrey, Bijan Robinson and James Cook in recent weeks.

Over the last five games, Conner has averaged 3.2 receptions and has a 15% target share. Fresh off the bye week, Conner looks like a strong play here.

Wide Receivers

Courtland Sutton (WR – DEN) @ Raiders | DraftKings: $5,800/FanDuel: $7,100

It’s been a little thin in the touchdown department lately for Courtland Sutton with only one in his last four games, but he’s making up for it with 70+ yards in all four of those games.

The Raiders rank 26th against the pass in DVOA. While they’ve not given up heaps of fantasy production to wide receivers, seven different wideouts have recorded 50+ yards against them.

This is a positive matchup for Bo Nix. If he plays well, Sutton is likely to have a good game.

Calvin Ridley (WR – TEN) @ Texans | DraftKings: $5,700/FanDuel: $6,300

The Titans aren’t a team that gets you excited to watch their games but they are a team that’s fairly straightforward for fantasy football. Tony Pollard will see the vast majority of touches at running back, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine will somehow find his way to scoring a touchdown and Calvin Ridley will have a 30% target share.

Ridley has been seeing those numbers for the last six weeks and is averaging 58.7 yards per game in that spell. Will Levis seems to be playing at a slightly better standard than before his injury and understands he needs to get the ball to Ridley more often. The Texans have allowed seven top-10 wide receiver finishes including four since the start of Week 8.

Jauan Jennings (WR – SF) @ Packers | DraftKings: $5,600/FanDuel: $6,700

With 41.4 PPR points in his last two games, Jauan Jennings isn’t getting the pricing or respect he deserves from DFS sites. Jennings has gone over 90 yards in both games since the 49ers’ bye week and had 11 targets in both games.

There’s a possibility Brock Purdy misses this game, which would pour cold water on it, but Jennings has been the 49ers’ best wideout this year. If Purdy is out there, Jennings is an easy click.

Kayshon Boutte (WR – NE) @ Dolphins | DraftKings: $3,500/FanDuel: $5,100

When it comes to extreme punt plays to open up salary for other plays the key thing we’re looking for is a consistent role, which Kayshon Boutte has. Dating back to Week 7, Boutte has a 94% route participation, never dipping below 86%. His 16.7% target share has also been consistent.

The Dolphins look to be heating up. If that happens, Drake Maye will need to keep passing plenty, which should benefit Boutte enough to pay off this very low cost.

Tight Ends

Hunter Henry (TE – NE) @ Dolphins | DraftKings: $4,000/FanDuel: $5,200

If you prefer to look a different way, Hunter Henry is worth considering. Ever since Drake Maye entered the starting lineup in New England, Henry has been a fantasy prospect, ranking as the TE10 in that period and finishing as a top-10 tight end in four of the six weeks he’s played.

Impressively, Henry is doing this despite only scoring a single touchdown this year. If positive regression can find its way to Henry he can be a really valuable fantasy player.

Miami just allowed 123 yards to Brock Bowers a couple of weeks after allowing 124 to Trey McBride. Henry might not be as good as those two, but he can accumulate enough yardage to show out well.

Luke Schoonmaker (TE – DAL) @ Commanders | DraftKings: $2,500/FanDuel: $4,500

Jake Ferguson looks set to miss this week due to a concussion. That gives more life to Luke Schoonmaker, who had an 18% target share in Week 11, finishing as the TE11.

Six different tight ends have finished as a top-12 tight end against the Commanders. Eight have scored over 7.2 points against them, which would be a great result for Schoonmaker at this cost.
