2025 NFL Mock Draft: First Round Picks & Predictions

2025 NFL Mock Draft: First Round Picks & Predictions

Welcome to the final edition of my 2025 NFL Draft mock draft. We’re in the home stretch now, so ignore the silly season rumors and isolate the signal amongst the noise.

This mock will also be strongly adhering to my Random Forest machine learning model that projects the estimated pick number for each prospect. This model is team agnostic, so we’re going to use team needs, odds, and rumors to make the final connections within the range of the model.

With that, it’s go time!

Also, be sure to check out our entire 2025 NFL Draft Guide.

2025 NFL Draft Guide: Mock Drafts, Scouting Reports & More

2025 NFL Mock Draft (Round 1)

1. Tennessee Titans: Cam Ward (QB -Miami)

Model Rank Age Top-30 Visits Adj. ADP NFL.com Grade NextGen Grade
1 22.9 4 1.1 6.39 85.82

Odds to go 1st overall: -20000

NFL Draft Profile partner-arrow

2. Cleveland Browns: Travis Hunter (WR/CB – Colorado)

Model Rank Age Top-30 Visits Adj. ADP NFL.com Grade NextGen Grade
2 21.9 0 2.1 6.89 92.03

Barring a surprise trade, I believe this is locked in as well. Current #2 pick odds are sitting at -900 for Travis Hunter, with +550 for Adbul Carter.

NFL Draft Profiles: CB & WRpartner-arrow

3. New York Giants: Abdul Carter (EDGE – Penn State)

Model Rank Age Top-30 Visits Adj. ADP NFL.com Grade NextGen Grade
3 21.6 4 3.0 7.00 90.49

The Giants have lots of holes to fill, so they will just take the best player on the board in Abdul Carter. Carter posted 13 sacks and 43 hurries for Penn State this past season, which showcased his twitchy and explosive pass-rushing prowess.

NFL Draft Profile partner-arrow

4. New England Patriots: Will Campbell (OT – LSU)

Model Rank Age Top-30 Visits Adj. ADP NFL.com Grade NextGen Grade
4 21.3 3 5.2 6.44 85.27

There have been rumors of teams calling the Patriots about a trade-up. The problem is that teams are offering 70 cents on the dollar because there is a distinct lack of blue-chip quarterbacks in this class. I don’t project trades for my prognostication mocks, but it’s something to consider if a team wants to jump for Ashton Jeanty.

For now, I am sticking with Will Campbell to the Patriots. I believe he will be successful as an offensive tackle despite his wingspan concerns.

NFL Draft Profile partner-arrow

5. Jacksonville Jaguars: Ashton Jeanty (RB – Boise State)

Model Rank Age Top-30 Visits Adj. ADP NFL.com Grade NextGen Grade
6 21.4 3 7.0 7.15 94.87

Okay, I’m going to eat the rumors. There are tons of media figures saying that the Jaguars want to focus on the offensive side of the ball with the 5th-overall pick. Who better to assist than Ashton Jeanty?

NFL Draft Profile partner-arrow

6. Las Vegas Raiders: Armand Membou (OT – Missouri)

Model Rank Age Top-30 Visits Adj. ADP NFL.com Grade NextGen Grade
8 21.1 1 7.8 6.49 85.18

This is a move up from my prior mocks, and a pick that my confidence has been growing in lately. Membou steps in as the Raiders’ starting right tackle immediately with elite traits.

NFL Draft Profile partner-arrow

7. New York Jets: Tyler Warren (TE – Penn State)

Model Rank Age Top-30 Visits Adj. ADP NFL.com Grade NextGen Grade
9 22.9 1 10.1 6.77 92.36

The Jets could absolutely use a starting tight end better than Stone Smartt. There is also a chance that a team like the Colts, Chargers, Broncos, or Rams moves up to get the receiving weapon that is Tyler Warren.

NFL Draft Profile partner-arrow

8. Carolina Panthers: Jalon Walker (LB – Georgia)

Model Rank Age Top-30 Visits Adj. ADP NFL.com Grade NextGen Grade
 7  21.2 0 9.8 6.45 80.19

Despite being listed as a linebacker, Jalon Walker projects more as a 3-4 outside linebacker at the next level. His pass-rush is fueled by elite athleticism and an extremely high motor.

The Panthers could use all the talent they can get on the defensive side of the ball, and Walker’s versatility will come into play for them immediately.
NFL Draft Profile partner-arrow

9. New Orleans Saints: Mason Graham (DT – Michigan)

Model Rank Age Top-30 Visits Adj. ADP NFL.com Grade NextGen Grade
5 21.6 0 5.9 6.48 85.27

With the Jaguars taking Jeanty, the Saints lucked into one of the best defenders in this class falling into their lap. Recent reports have paired them with Mykel Williams, whom they met with on a Top-30 visit, and the Saints have not selected a Top-30 visit prospect in the last three draft classes over four total draft picks.

NFL Draft Profile partner-arrow

10. Chicago Bears: Omarion Hampton (RB – North Carolina)

Model Rank Age Top-30 Visits Adj. ADP NFL.com Grade NextGen Grade
21 22.1 2 19.6 6.35 85.16

Here’s your Jahmyr Gibbs moment of the 2025 draft.

Conversely to the Saints, the Bears have ALWAYS drafted a Top-30 visit prospect in the first round since 2022. The only other option with this board would be Shemar Stewart, who has medical concerns. Ben Johnson gets another playmaker to add to Caleb Williams’ offense.

NFL Draft Profile partner-arrow

11. San Francisco 49ers: Mykel Williams (EDGE – Georgia)

Model Rank Age Top-30 Visits Adj. ADP NFL.com Grade NextGen Grade
15 20.8 9 18.0 6.47 76.61

There seems to be a swell of stock for Mykel Williams as we approach the draft. We know NFL front offices love blue-blood prospects, so we will oblige them.

NFL Draft Profile partner-arrow

12. Dallas Cowboys: Tetairoa McMillan (WR – Arizona)

Model Rank Age Top-30 Visits Adj. ADP NFL.com Grade NextGen Grade
10 22.0 9 13.3 6.40 85.48

If the Cowboys expect to succeed in the Dak Prescott window, they will need some better pass-catchers to help CeeDee Lamb. Enter Tetairoa McMillan, who possesses a size/talent combo second to none in this class.

McMillan posted elite yards per route run, whether outside or in the slot.

NFL Draft Profile partner-arrow

13. Miami Dolphins: Kelvin Banks Jr. (OT – Texas)

Model Rank Age Top-30 Visits Adj. ADP NFL.com Grade NextGen Grade
12 21.1 7 15.1 6.43 81.70

With Terron Armstead officially retired, the Dolphins need to immediately remedy the left side of their offensive line. Banks could fit in at tackle (preferably) or guard in a pinch.

Kelvin Banks Jr. put together an outstanding three-year collegiate career with Texas, where he allowed only four sacks and 34 total pressures on 1,543 pass-blocking snaps, per PFF.

NFL Draft Profile partner-arrow

14. Indianapolis Colts: Colston Loveland (TE – Michigan)

Model Rank Age Top-30 Visits Adj. ADP NFL.com Grade NextGen Grade
16 21.0 1 17.5 6.70 84.03

I’ve been mocking a tight end to the Colts for the entire draft cycle, and I’m not going to stop now. Teams love Colston Loveland almost as much as Tyler Warren.

NFL Draft Profile partner-arrow

15. Atlanta Falcons: Jahdae Barron (CB – Texas)

Model Rank Age Top-30 Visits Adj. ADP NFL.com Grade NextGen Grade
18 23.4 0 18.5 6.42 89.23

The odds for the Falcons to draft a cornerback as their first position are +650, where selecting a defensive lineman is sitting at -285 as things stand. However, with question marks on Shemar Stewart and Mike Green, I believe the Falcons look to the secondary.

Jahdae Barron has played almost every possible alignment and done a pretty decent job no matter the assignment. The Falcons do not have a robust secondary, so Barron’s skills will be put to use right away.

NFL Draft Profile partner-arrow

16. Arizona Cardinals: Will Johnson (CB – Michigan)

Model Rank Age Top-30 Visits Adj. ADP NFL.com Grade NextGen Grade
 13 22.1 4 13.7 6.50 82.62

Seems like the draft community is souring slightly on Will Johnson — and for some fair reasons. He will need to go to a zone-heavy scheme, and his speed has come into question during the draft process. The Cardinals make for a good fit to maximize Johnson’s value on the field.

Dynasty Draft Kit 2025

17. Cincinnati Bengals: Walter Nolen (DT – Ole Miss)

Model Rank Age Top-30 Visits Adj. ADP NFL.com Grade NextGen Grade
31 21.5 0 24.0 6.50 80.24

Bengal analyst Joe Goodberry has been pounding the table for Walter Nolen for a while. With Mason Graham off the board, Nolen moves to Cincinnati, where he should be a main part of the rotation immediately.

NFL Draft Profile partner-arrow

18. Seattle Seahawks: Grey Zabel (iOL – North Dakota State)

Model Rank Age Top-30 Visits Adj. ADP NFL.com Grade NextGen Grade
22 23.1 2 23.2 6.34 87.06

The Seahawks have been paired with interior linemen all cycle, where they need help at multiple positions. Grey Zabel played literally every position on the offensive line while at North Dakota State.

Zabel also allowed just four sacks on 1,137 pass-blocking snaps during his five-year tenure.

NFL Draft Profile partner-arrow

19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Jihaad Campbell (LB – Alabama)

Model Rank Age Top-30 Visits Adj. ADP NFL.com Grade NextGen Grade
20 21.2 2 19.4 6.37 82.20

This is easily one of the most perfect pairings in the draft. The Bucs desperately need linebacker help. Jihaad Campbell was electric for Alabama. At just over 21 years old, he’s one of the youngest players in this class with a final year resume that’s tough to beat.

NFL Draft Profile partner-arrow

20. Denver Broncos: Matthew Golden (WR – Texas)

Model Rank Age Top-30 Visits Adj. ADP NFL.com Grade NextGen Grade
17 21.7 7 17.9 6.42 82.44

With the top running backs off the board, the Broncos attack a different skill position. Matthew Golden has a wide range of outcomes in both draft projection and career projection. However, Sean Payton and Bo Nix could still use some receiver help.

NFL Draft Profile partner-arrow

21. Pittsburgh Steelers: Shedeur Sanders (QB – Colorado)

Model Rank Age Top-30 Visits Adj. ADP NFL.com Grade NextGen Grade
11 23.2 5 13.2 6.3 78.99

This selection is under the presumption that Aaron Rodgers is not going to sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers — or perhaps this pick would be a precursor towards the Steelers no longer needing Rodgers. Shedeur Sanders ends his slide at 21 and steps into a great position for year one production.

NFL Draft Profile partner-arrow

22. Los Angeles Chargers: Kenneth Grant (DT – Michigan)

Model Rank Age Top-30 Visits Adj. ADP NFL.com Grade NextGen Grade
23 21.5 0 22.3 6.34 75.75

For a man who weighs 339 pounds, Kenneth Grant should not be able to move as quickly as he does. During his two years as a starter, the big man from Michigan handled A and B gap duties with ease.

Grant garnered eight sacks, 52 total pressures, and 47 tackles as an elite combo interior pass-rusher/run-stopper.

NFL Draft Profile partner-arrow

23. Green Bay Packers: Shemar Stewart (EDGE – Texas A&M)

Model Rank Age Top-30 Visits Adj. ADP NFL.com Grade NextGen Grade
14 21.4 21 18.7 6.41 77.45

Shemar Stewart is a big man who can move. He’s somewhat unrefined in his pass-rush toolkit, but has the explosiveness to succeed at the next level with training.

The Packers and Brian Gutekunst are well-known for targeting high-end athletes in the first round. Stewart has that in spades.

NFL Draft Profile partner-arrow

24. Minnesota Vikings: Nick Emmanwori (S – South Carolina)

Model Rank Age Top-30 Visits Adj. ADP NFL.com Grade NextGen Grade
25 21.2 8 24.0 6.41 85.29

The Vikings grab the succession plan to Harrison Smith, who is returning for his 14th season in purple and gold. Nick Emmanwori is everything Kwesi is looking for in a secondary defender: young, athletic, and (of course) talented.

NFL Draft Profile partner-arrow

25. Houston Texans: Josh Simmons (OT – Ohio State)

Model Rank Age Top-30 Visits Adj. ADP NFL.com Grade NextGen Grade
29 22.3 7 24.2 6.39 77.62

The Houston Texans are now looking to retool their offensive line with the departure of Laremy Tunsil. They made a few mediocre moves in free agency, but Josh Simmons represents a great long-term plan at left tackle.

NFL Draft Profile partner-arrow

26. Los Angeles Rams: Maxwell Hairston (CB – Kentucky)

Model Rank Age Top-30 Visits Adj. ADP NFL.com Grade NextGen Grade
34 21.7 8 25.4 6.37 77.71

This is the only pick I will make outside my top 32 prospects in the draft model. The Rams are definitely interested in a cornerback at the 26th pick if they stay put. Maxwell Hairston boasts a 9.68 RAS and plays with a fierce, competitive nature.

NFL Draft Profile partner-arrow

27. Baltimore Ravens: Malaki Starks (S – Georgia)

Model Rank Age Top-30 Visits Adj. ADP NFL.com Grade NextGen Grade
28 21.4 2 23.9 6.34 77.90

This would be an awesome player to pair as a free safety with Kyle Hamilton. Malaki Starks was a very highly rated prospect before heading to Georgia, where he played up to his rating. As a three-year starter, he missed an astoundingly low 6.9% of his tackles.

NFL Draft Profile partner-arrow

28. Detroit Lions: Tyler Booker (iOL – Alabama)

Model Rank Age Top-30 Visits Adj. ADP NFL.com Grade NextGen Grade
24 21.0 0 22.8 6.38 75.44

With Kevin Zeitler gone, the Lions didn’t sign anyone to fill the gap on their interior offensive line. Tyler Booker played mostly left guard in college, so Graham Glasgow would slide back to the right side, where he has plenty of experience. Not to mention, he fits Dan Campbell’s vision to a T: Team Captain, Mauler, Aggressive.

Booker was dominant in his final season with Alabama, allowing just seven hurries and zero sacks.

NFL Draft Profile partner-arrow

29. Washington Commanders: Emeka Egbuka (WR – Ohio State)

Model Rank Age Top-30 Visits Adj. ADP NFL.com Grade NextGen Grade
30 22.5 2 23.9 6.37 83.60

Terry McLaurin and Deebo Samuel will both hit 30 years old during the 2025 NFL season. With the success of Jayden Daniels, the Commanders lock in one of the safest slot receivers of this draft class.

NFL Draft Profile partner-arrow

30. Buffalo Bills: Derrick Harmon (DT – Oregon)

Model Rank Age Top-30 Visits Adj. ADP NFL.com Grade NextGen Grade
27 21.7 0 20.9 6.38 79.08

I believe the Bills would sprint this card to the podium. There is a chance Harmon goes higher than this, but someone has to fall in the NFL Draft.

NFL Draft Profile partner-arrow

31. Kansas City Chiefs: Mike Green (EDGE – Marshall)

Model Rank Age Top-30 Visits Adj. ADP NFL.com Grade NextGen Grade
19 21.7 1 17.2 6.46 82.51

The Chiefs will grab Mike Green from Marshall, who hasn’t sported a first-rounder since Byron Leftwich in 2003. And let me tell you, it’s deserved. Green smashed opposing offensive lines to the tune of 17 sacks this last season, which led the entire FBS. His off-field concerns and competition question marks have caused him to slide a bit, but I doubt he escapes the first round.

NFL Draft Profile partner-arrow

32. Philadelphia Eagles: Donovan Ezeiruaku (EDGE – Boston College)

Model Rank Age Top-30 Visits Adj. ADP NFL.com Grade NextGen Grade
32 21.6 3 26.2 6.40 82.73

The Commanders made a valiant effort to reach the Super Bowl but ultimately fell short. Improving their pass rush could be a key focus for them as they approach this offseason. Donovan Ezeiruaku put up 14 sacks in Power 5 play this season.

Notable Missing Prospect: Jaxson Dart (QB – Ole Miss)

Model Rank Age Top-30 Visits Adj. ADP NFL.com Grade NextGen Grade
26 22.0 2 21.0 6.17 77.53

I do think there is a strong possibility that the Saints, Giants, or Browns trade up in the end of the first for Jaxson Dart. However, since I don’t project trades for my mock drafts, I am leaving off this version.
