Welcome to the second edition of my 2025 NFL Draft mock draft. NFL free agency has come and gone. Silly season is in full swing as front offices and agents are both working hard for their respective entities.
We have also garnered more information on all the NFL prospects for this cycle, so let’s put it all into action with a mock draft.
Also, be sure to check out our entire 2025 NFL Draft Guide.
2025 NFL Mock Draft (Round 1)
1. Tennessee Titans: Cam Ward (QB -Miami)
The Titans need to keep things simple at the top of this year’s NFL Draft. Simply put: They need a quarterback not named Will Levis. Under the guidance of passing specialist Brian Callahan, the Titans just could not get their offense rolling smoothly all year.
Cam Ward brings nearly five years of starting experience to the table across three schools, but culminated his collegiate career with a dominating season for the Miami Hurricanes.
2. Cleveland Browns: Travis Hunter (WR/CB – Colorado)
Travis Hunter is a fascinating two-way NFL prospect, the likes of which we haven’t seen since Charles Woodson – except better as a prospect.
Recent reports sourced from Hunter himself claim he expects to be used as both a receiver and a cornerback at the NFL level. Cleveland could value Hunter as a starter on both sides of the ball.
3. New York Giants: Abdul Carter (EDGE – Penn State)
The Giants have lots of holes to fill, so they will just take the best player on the board in Abdul Carter. Carter posted 13 sacks and 43 hurries for Penn State this past season, which showcased his twitchy and explosive pass-rushing prowess.
4. New England Patriots: Will Campbell (OT – LSU)
The Patriots landed a great quarterback in Drake Maye last year, and that translated on the field by the end of the season. However, the Patriots are severely lacking in both protection and receivers.
The 2025 NFL Draft will yield better Day 2 receivers than it will offensive linemen, so the Patriots will grab Will Campbell out of LSU. The 6-foot-6 behemoth allowed just four sacks on 1,593 pass-blocking snaps, per Pro Football Focus (PFF).
5. Jacksonville Jaguars: Mason Graham (DT – Michigan)
Mason Graham may be the best all-around defender in this draft class. He’s been making plays since day one as a true freshman for the Michigan Wolverines.
The Jaguars struggled defensively in the 2024 season and will take all the talent they can get in this draft.

6. Las Vegas Raiders: Ashton Jeanty (RB – Boise State)
Ashton Jeanty is a *cough* generational running back who fell just a few yards short of breaking Barry Sanders’ single-season rushing record.
Jeanty’s 30-touchdown season was a sight to behold and secured his place among the top 10 picks of the NFL Draft. While running back isn’t the most glaring need for the Raiders, I believe they will be enamored with his potential.
7. New York Jets: Armand Membou (OT – Missouri)
The Jets are still in a transitory state when it comes to fixing their offensive line. It’s worth noting that they have just three offensive linemen under contract after this season.
Armand Membou brings the versatility to play several positions on the line and athleticism to excel in the long run.
The more I watch #Missouri RT Armand Membou, the more he moves up my board
He just checks so many boxes — strength, athleticism, agility, balance, coordination, smarts, etc ✅

8. Carolina Panthers: Jalon Walker (LB – Georgia)
Despite being listed as a linebacker, Jalon Walker projects more as a 3-4 outside linebacker at the next level. His pass-rush is fueled by elite athleticism and an extremely high motor.
The Panthers could use all the talent they can get on the defensive side of the ball, and Walker’s versatility will come into play for them immediately.
NFL Draft Profile
9. New Orleans Saints: Shedeur Sanders (QB – Colorado)
With the recent news on Derek Carr‘s injury potentially being worse than the original estimates, Shedeur Sanders stops his slide at the ninth overall pick.
Sanders played excellently under his father at Colorado for the last two seasons, but stands on his talent laurels just fine. Reports of him falling into Day 2 of the NFL Draft are screaming “silly season” to me.
10. Chicago Bears: Tyler Warren (TE – Penn State)
Did Tyler Warren wait until his fifth year of college to break out? Yeah. Does that matter? Not in the slightest. Tyler Warren is that dude.
Warren tallied 1,233 receiving yards and eight touchdowns with Penn State and showcased his pure hands during the college playoffs.
11. San Francisco 49ers: Will Johnson (CB – Michigan)
The 49ers are one of the highest utilizers of zone coverage in the league – an area where Will Johnson excels. This past season, Johnson was stunted due to a bout with turf toe, but he has an elite frame and talent to boot.
Johnson’s physicality as a cornerback has assisted him greatly in his tackling and during press coverage when called upon.
12. Dallas Cowboys: Tetairoa McMillan (WR – Arizona)
If the Cowboys expect to succeed in the Dak Prescott window, they will need some better pass-catchers to help CeeDee Lamb. Enter Tetairoa McMillan, who possesses a size/talent combo second to none in this class.
Whether outside or in the slot, McMillan posted elite yards per route run.
At 6'5", Tetairoa McMillan played 23% of his snaps out of the slot.
On slot routes he led the FBS with 4.48 yprr (min 30 slot tgt).
Big. Slot.

13. Miami Dolphins: Kelvin Banks Jr. (OT – Texas)
With Terron Armstead officially retired, the Dolphins need to immediately remedy the left side of their offensive line.
Kelvin Banks Jr. put together an outstanding three-year collegiate career with Texas, where he allowed only four sacks and 34 total pressures on 1,543 pass-blocking snaps, per PFF.
14. Indianapolis Colts: Colston Loveland (TE – Michigan)
Even though Tyler Warren received more recent hype, Colston Loveland is arguably every bit as good a prospect despite never posting a truly elite season as Warren did.
Instead, Loveland was an early contributor to the Michigan offense as a true freshman, and then got better each year. He could use some work as a blocker, but posted yards per route run metrics of 2.67 and 2.38 in his last two seasons.
15. Atlanta Falcons: Jihaad Campbell (LB – Alabama)
The Falcons could also be looking at a pure EDGE rusher with this pick, but I believe Jihaad Campbell does more for their defense as a rookie. At just over 21 years old, he’s one of the youngest players in this class with a final year resume that’s tough to beat.
16. Arizona Cardinals: Jahdae Barron (CB – Texas)
Jahdae Barron has played almost every possible alignment and done a pretty decent job no matter the assignment. The Cardinals do not have a robust secondary, so Barron’s skills will be put to use right away.
17. Cincinnati Bengals: Shemar Stewart (EDGE – Texas A&M)
Shemar Stewart is a big man who can move. He’s somewhat unrefined in his pass-rush toolkit, but has the explosiveness to succeed at the next level with training.
With Trey Hendrickson‘s contract situation currently in limbo, it would benefit the Bengals greatly to shore up their pass-rush depth.
18. Seattle Seahawks: Matthew Golden (WR – Texas)
The Seahawks lost DK Metcalf and acquired Cooper Kupp, but with Jaxon Smith-Njigba also playing mostly from the slot, the Seahawks need to bring in a deep threat.
Matthew Golden isn’t the most refined wide receiver, but his 4.29 40-yard dash time will get front offices excited regardless.
19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Mike Green (EDGE – Marshall)
The Bucs will grab Mike Green from Marshall, who hasn’t sported a first-rounder since Byron Leftwich in 2003. And let me tell you, it’s deserved. Green smashed opposing offensive lines to the tune of 17 sacks this last season, which led the entire FBS.
20. Denver Broncos: Omarion Hampton (RB – North Carolina)
The Broncos found a revelation in Bo Nix last season, and they will want to build an offense to support him. Omarion Hampton is a big-play running back who can smash you like a bulldozer.
While the Broncos have seen glimpses of hope from Jaleel McLaughlin and Audric Estime, they will spend up to have a bona fide lead back.
You better look out when Omarion Hampton gets goin' ????@OmarionHampton | @UNCFootball

21. Pittsburgh Steelers: Jaxson Dart (QB – Missouri)
The rumblings are starting to boil up about this pairing with Aaron Rodgers either being non-committal or wanting too much money. Mason Rudolph is not a serious long-term option either.
Jaxson Dart played in a Mickey Mouse offense, but at least he did it at a high level. The Steelers would need to adjust him to a multiple-read system, which could take a year behind Rudolph/Rodgers.
22. Los Angeles Chargers: Kenneth Grant (DT – Michigan)
For a man who weighs 339 pounds, Kenneth Grant should not be able to move as quickly as he does. During his two years as a starter, the big man from Michigan handled A and B gap duties with ease.
Grant garnered eight sacks, 52 total pressures and 47 tackles as an elite combo interior pass-rusher/run-stopper.
23. Green Bay Packers: Mykel Williams (EDGE – Georgia)
Mykel Williams is a former five-star prospect who has shown flashes of brilliance during his tenure with the Georgia Bulldogs. If Williams can dial in his snap timing and bendability, he has a great chance to succeed at the NFL level.
24. Minnesota Vikings: Derrick Harmon (DT – Oregon)
If Brian Flores and the Vikings added Derrick Harmon to the defensive line rotation with newly acquired Jonathan Allen and Javon Hargrave, it would be very challenging for opposing offenses.
Last year, Harmon posted 43 hurries and five sacks for the Oregon Ducks.
Derrick Harmon has a case for second best pass rusher in the class. Arsenal of moves. NFL size. Really long. Very athletic. Aware of where the QB is moving. Variety of alignments.

25. Houston Texans: Grey Zabel (iOL – North Dakota State)
Let’s be real, the Texans just need a ton of duct tape on their offensive line. Grey Zabel played literally every position on the offensive line while at North Dakota State.
Zabel also allowed just four sacks on 1,137 pass-blocking snaps during his five-year tenure.
26. Los Angeles Rams: Josh Simmons (OT – Ohio State)
This is the succession plan for Rob Havenstein, who is set to become a free agent after this season. This gives Josh Simmons time to heal from his ACL injury last season.
While Simmons played left tackle for Ohio State, he also had experience at right tackle when he played at San Diego State. Additionally, his size isn’t considered elite by NFL standards, so he could start on the interior if needed.
27. Baltimore Ravens: Malaki Starks (S – Georgia)
This would be an awesome player to pair as a free safety with Kyle Hamilton. Malaki Starks was a very highly rated prospect before heading to Georgia, where he played up to his rating. As a three-year starter, he missed an astoundingly low 6.9% of his tackles.
28. Detroit Lions: Tyler Booker (iOL – Alabama)
With Kevin Zeitler gone, the Lions didn’t sign anyone to fill the gap on their interior offensive line. Tyler Booker played mostly left guard in college, so Graham Glasgow would slide back to the right side, where he has plenty of experience.
Booker was dominant in his final season with Alabama, allowing just seven hurries and zero sacks.
29. Washington Commanders: Donovan Ezeiruaku (EDGE – Boston College)
The Commanders made a valiant effort to reach the Super Bowl but ultimately fell short. Improving their pass rush could be a key focus for them as they approach this offseason. Donovan Ezeiruaku put up 14 sacks in Power 5 play this season.
30. Buffalo Bills: Nick Emmanwori (S – South Carolina)
With no long-term plan in place at the safety position, the Bills will grab Nick Emmanwori out of South Carolina. Emmanwori projects as a strong safety with length and power to control the box. He is an all-around solid player who is still only 21.1 years old.
31. Kansas City Chiefs: James Pearce Jr. (EDGE – Tennessee)
The Chiefs need some pass-rush help in this draft. James Pearce Jr. logged 21 sacks and 71 hurries in his two seasons as a starter for Tennessee, truly dominating opposing offenses.
Pearce’s size and athleticism are ideal, and he even played a few solid snaps in coverage during his tenure.
32. Philadelphia Eagles: Walter Nolen (DT – Ole Miss)
Hey, you know how the Eagles have a great front seven? It’s about to get a whole lot better. Walter Nolen has played a variety of assignments and alignments on the defensive line. He could easily be a partial replacement for the losses of Milton Williams and Josh Sweat.
