Fantasy Football Injury Updates

Zach Charbonnet (foot) estimated as full participant Monday
Zach Charbonnet (foot) was estimated to be a full participant for the Seahawks on Monday.

Fantasy Impact

The Seahawks released an estimated injury report on Monday based on what everyone’s participation would’ve been had they practiced. Charbonnet was listed as a full participant, which is a good sign that he will be back on the field on Thursday night after being sidelined by a foot issue in Week 3. His return would mean less work for Kenneth Walker III in their matchup against the Cardinals.

Tyler Booker (ankle) to miss 4-to-6 weeks
Cowboys OL Tyler Booker (ankle) is set to miss 4-to-6 weeks.

Fantasy Impact

Booker is dealing with a high ankle sprain. The Cowboys are now down two offensive lineman, with TJ Bass or Trevor Keegan likely to replace Booker in Week 4.

Jauan Jennings (shoulder, ankle) deemed day-to-day
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings is considered day-to-day with a shoulder and ankle injury.

Fantasy Impact

Jennings was a non-participant in practice all three days heading into Week 3. He suffered a shoulder injury in Week 1 but was able to play in Week 2 (DNP-DNP-limited). However, an ankle injury was added to the report after his 5-89-1 day. His situation should be monitored, and if he can play, he could be a WR3/Flex option. There is also optimism that QB Brock Purdy can return in Week 4 as well.

Brock Purdy expected to continue practicing
San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy is expected to practice this week as he recovers from a shoulder and toe injury.

Fantasy Impact

Purdy practiced all three days last week, being a limited participant in each. With backup QB Mac Jones re-aggravating his PCL injury, the 49ers could turn to Purdy to return. However, both will be evaluated throughout the week, so they should be monitored closely. Purdy is a low-end QB1 when healthy, especially with the 49ers’ offense looking solid in his absence.

Jayden Daniels (knee) still considered day-to-day
Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels is still considered day-to-day with his knee injury that kept him out in Week 3 and does not yet have a practice plan set in stone.

Fantasy Impact

Washington head coach Dan Quinn said the next update on Daniels will come on Wednesday when the team returns to practice. The team’s QB1 was a DNP in all three practices last week, so a return would be a positive sign. However, with backup QB Marcus Mariota‘s performance in the Commanders’ 41-24 win, the team can afford to be patient. Daniels’ practice status should be monitored closely.

Noah Fant placed in concussion protocol
Cincinnati Bengals tight end Noah Fant was placed in concussion protocol following the team’s Week 3 loss to the Minnesota Vikings.

Fantasy Impact

Fant has been involved in Cincinnati’s offense this season, recording 12 catches for 80 yards and a touchdown in three games. After being placed into the league’s protocol, the expectation should be that he misses a week, as is often the case with concussions. How long he is out, though, is hard to determine, as every concussion is different. His situation should be monitored, and tight end Mike Gesicki receives a slight boost with Fant sidelined.

Najee Harris to miss season with torn Achilles
Los Angeles Chargers running back Najee Harris was confirmed to have torn his Achilles tendon and will miss the rest of the 2025-26 season.

Fantasy Impact

The immediate impact of this injury is that rookie running back Omarion Hampton should take over as the team’s clear RB1. He had been splitting work with Harris, who has run for over 1,000 yards in every season of his NFL career, but was the clear leader after Harris’ injury. Hassan Haskins should factor into the mix, and LA could add a veteran or elevate second-year back Kimani Vidal, but Hampton should lead the way, and Harris is set to be a free agent in 2026.

Alec Pierce in concussion protocol
Colts WR Alec Pierce is in the league’s concussion protocol.

Fantasy Impact

Pierce suffered a concussion during the Colts’ win over the Titans. He will now have to work to clear the protocol ahead of a 4:05 PM EST start against the Rams in Week 4. Fantasy managers should keep tabs on his progress throughout the week and have a backup plan in place if Pierce is unable to suit up.

Darren Waller (hip) expected to be active, but on snap count in Week 4
Dolphins TE Darren Waller (hip) is expected to be active in Week 4, but will be on a snap count per head coach Mike McDaniel.

Fantasy Impact

McDaniel stated that it will be a “situational snap count or package.” Considering how much the Dolphins have struggled on offense this season, Waller will be a welcome addition in a Week 4 matchup with the Jets.

Nick Bosa suffered season-ending ACL tear
San Francisco 49ers superstar edge rusher Nick Bosa suffered a season-ending ACL tear in Week 3 despite optimism that he avoided a major injury.

Fantasy Impact

Bosa is one of the best pass rushers in the NFL, and his absence is an immediate speed bump for the 49ers’ front seven. San Francisco did make significant investments into their defensive line group this offseason, including with rookies and veteran Bryce Huff, so they may be able to sustain in his absence. However, Bosa has now torn the same ACL twice, adding concern for his long-term outlook.

CeeDee Lamb ‘unlikely to play’ in Week 4
Dallas Cowboys superstar wide receiver CeeDee Lamb is considered unlikely to play in Week 4 against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football due to his high-ankle sprain. He will be evaluated over the next 10-14 days before a further determination is made.

Fantasy Impact

This timeline sets Lamb up to potentially return in Week 5 if he feels good in practice heading into the week, but for now, he is not expected to play in Week 4. The Packers-Cowboys matchup will catch plenty of headlines due to the Micah Parsons trade, but for the Cowboys offense, the attention turns to wide receiver George Pickens, who will have an opportunity to prove that he deserves to be paid this offseason. With Lamb out, Pickens will slide into the WR1 role, and tight end Jake Ferguson should continue to be a target-earner. At wide receiver, Jalen Tolbert should earn extra snaps out wide.

Tyrone Tracy Jr. (shoulder) diagnosed with dislocated shoulder
Tyrone Tracy Jr. (shoulder) suffered a dislocated shoulder on Sunday night against the Chiefs. He is expected to miss some time.

Fantasy Impact

Tracy was injured early on in the contest, opening things up for Cam Skattebo to take control. Skattebo should retain the lion’s share of the backfield work with Tracy out, especially after such a good showing.

Garrett Ball

James Conner (ankle) suffers season-ending ankle injury against 49ers
James Conner (ankle) suffered a season-ending ankle injury in the Cardinals’ loss to the 49ers that will require surgery. The extent of the damage to his ankle is unknown.

Fantasy Impact

It’s a big blow to all Conner managers. He is droppable for redraft purposes. Trey Benson will take over as the lead back in Arizona with Conner out, and is a top priority if available on waivers.

Garrett Ball

Mac Jones re-aggravated PCL injury in Week 3 win
San Francisco 49ers quarterback Mac Jones reportedly re-aggravated a PCL sprain he suffered during training camp. He finished Week 3’s game despite the injury.

Fantasy Impact

It is not yet clear if Jones’ PCL injury will keep him out, but he was able to play on it against Arizona. If he misses time, Adrian Martinez would be the next man up, but the team’s QB1, Brock Purdy, was close to returning. It seems likely that he can suit up in Week 4, with Jones’ status as the backup unclear.

Jordan Epp – Jepp Sports

Mike Evans (hamstring) to undergo MRI
Buccaneers WR Mike Evans (hamstring) will undergo an MRI to determine the extent of the injury.

Fantasy Impact

Head coach Todd Bowles classified it as a hamstring tweak, but the expectation is that they will have more information once Evans undergoes his MRI. Prior to the injury, he caught 4-of-8 targets for 33 yards and a touchdown. If Evans is set to miss any time, Emeka Egbuka and Sterling Shepard will see additional targets.
