We’re beginning to collect data points through the first two weeks of the 2025 NFL season. It’s still early but there are already teams that have separated as pretenders and contenders.
After a low-scoring Week 1 finish, Week 2 saw most games go over the point total. There were many surprising names atop the DraftKings and FanDuel DFS points leaders, like Malik Nabers, Russell Wilson, Rome Odunze, Wan’Dale Robinson and Drake Maye.
Expect more chaos in Week 3. Notable matchups on Sunday include the Los Angeles Rams vs. Philadelphia Eagles, Denver Broncos vs. Los Angeles Chargers, Arizona Cardinals vs. San Francisco 49ers, and Cincinnati Bengals vs. Minnesota Vikings. Backup quarterbacks Jake Browning and Carson Wentz will both start during the Bengals and Vikings game.

This Week 3 NFC South matchup should yield a lot of fantasy points. The Panthers rallied against Arizona, scoring multiple touchdowns in the second half, with rookie wideout Tetairoa McMillan a focal point for Bryce Young.
McMillan has garnered a 21.1 percent target share through two games, logging at least nine targets in each outing. Young threw for three touchdowns in Week 2, so assuming Carolina is playing catch-up against Atlanta, this will be a high-floor stack with the potential to hit a high-ceiling output.
Chuba Hubbard has also found the end zone twice as a receiver, including the Panthers’ lone touchdown against Jacksonville in Week 1. Atlanta is allowing 4.4 YPC, so Hubbard’s 10-16 carries, combined with five targets, will be more than enough to hit his 18.3 FPPG average.
A lot of Atlanta’s players carry big salaries due to the favorable matchup against a porous Carolina defense. Falcons WR Drake London has underperformed through two games, which is why he’s available at a discount.
Stack London with Michael Penix Jr., especially since he’s the definitive target leader on Atlanta with a 30 percent target share. The Panthers are bottom-six in net yards allowed per pass attempt, so this could be London’s breakout game in 2025.

| Adam Thielen (WR) |

There are a lot of unknown variables associated with this Cincinnati and Minnesota matchup. Jake Browning and Carson Wentz will both start due to injuries suffered by Joe Burrow and J.J. McCarthy.
I won’t be targeting Justin Jefferson or Ja’Marr Chase since they are too expensive to roster. Instead, we’re going to invest in Tee Higgins and pair him with Browning as a Bengals stack. Higgins finished with eight targets during Cincinnati’s Week 2 comeback win against the Jaguars.
The Bengals’ WR2 only logged three receptions but also had 56 yards and a touchdown. Minnesota’s pass defense is stout, however, but Chase will attract the attention of Vikings DC Brian Flores, leaving opportunities for Higgins to connect with Browning.
Wentz hasn’t played in a long time. Now that Aaron Jones is sidelined with an injury, it’s time for Jordan Mason to step into a bell-cow role in Minnesota’s backfield. Mason is facing a Bengals run defense that has been stingy against the run, however, he’ll have high-value touches in the red zone.
Adam Thielen is a sneaky play at a cheap $4,300 salary. Thielen bounced back from a goose egg in Week 1, finishing Week 2 with two receptions for 26 yards on three targets. Thielen is a veteran presence and has a 68 percent snap count, earning a 9.8 percent target share.
He’s a definitive WR3 behind Jalen Nailor and Jefferson, while TE T.J. Hockenson has been an underwhelming target in the passing attack. Wentz is a wild card but he’s likely going to be compelled to target his WR3 with softer coverage.

Dallas Cowboys vs. Chicago Bears
| Player (Position) |
Team |

| Dak Prescott (QB) |
Dallas Cowboys |
$5,900 |
$7,300 |
| George Pickens (WR) |

Chicago Bears |
$5,600 |
$7,100 |
| Rome Odunze (WR) |
Chicago Bears |
$5,300 |
$6,400 |
Dallas has played two back-and-forth games in 2025. Chicago only looked strong for the opening quarter of the season, before allowing Minnesota to rally, followed by a blowout loss on the road against Detroit in Week 2.
The Cowboys’ defense ranks 27th in points allowed, 30th in yards per play, and 29th in net passing yards gained per pass attempt. Caleb Williams will have the ability to move the football downfield, with his favorite target, WR Rome Odunze, continuing to absorb the bulk of the Bears’ target share.
Odunze has a 29 percent target share, with DJ Moore a distant third at 16.2 percent. Odunze has converted these opportunities into at least 12.7 fantasy points, exploding in Week 2 with 31.3 points, going 7-128-2 on 11 targets.
Aside from the Williams-Odunze stack, which is fairly cheap to build, there are three Dallas Cowboys players to stack as well.
Dak Prescott has been solid for the Cowboys, averaging 17 fantasy points per game. WR George Pickens holds a 15 percent target share as Dallas’ WR2. He was much more productive against the Giants in Week 2, finishing with 5-68-1 on nine targets.
The Bears have been bad against the run and pass through two games. They rank bottom-five in pass yards and rushing yards per attempt allowed. This means Cowboys RB Javonte Williams is worth the premium salary in DFS builds.
Williams is handling a 66-percent rush share, playing 74-percent of snaps, and has an 11.8-percent target share. He’s scored three touchdowns and has between 18-25 touches in both of Dallas’ games in 2025. Williams’ usage as a receiver and high-value red zone touches will pair well with Prescott in a plus-matchup.
