Dalton Kincaid (TE – BUF)
“The Buffalo Bills are coming off their bye week following an awful Week 6 performance on offense, where they totaled a season-low 180 passing yards. Unfortunately, Dalton Kincaid missed the loss to the Atlanta Falcons because of an oblique injury, but he should be ready for Sunday’s matchup against the Carolina Panthers. The former Utah star was the TE2 before getting hurt, averaging four receptions on 4.8 targets for 57.4 receiving yards and 13.3 PPR fantasy points per game, totaling 14.8 or more in 60% of the contests. Fantasy players must trade for him before Sunday’s matchup, as the Panthers have surrendered 15.9 fantasy points per game to tight ends, one of the highest averages in the NFL. Furthermore, Kincaid has fantasy-friendly matchups against the Miami Dolphins and Tampa Bay Buccaneers over the next month. I would give up Kyle Pitts or Travis Kelce to land Kincaid.”

George Kittle (TE – SF)
“George Kittle. People held on to him, and he came back and gave them nothing. They are likely desperate, and once he has a big game, the window will close. Tight Ends are hard to find, and he gets the Titans, Colts, and Bears in the championship. Purdy will be back soon, and Kittle’s boom weeks can be league-winning. See if you can find someone excited about Gadsen, Mason Taylor, or Theo Johnson to pair with a WR to get George. If I had Dallas Goedert, I would sell high and try to see if I could get George Kittle plus.”

Jacory Croskey-Merritt (RB – WAS)
“Heading into Week 8 of the NFL season, my favorite buy-low trade candidate is Commanders’ running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt. “Bill” is a versatile back who’s been the lead back in a make-shift three-back committee since the injury to Austin Ekeler and trade of Brian Robinson Jr. He has flashes of explosive vision and receiving chops give him immense upside, as we’ve seen in Week 5 when he exploded for 111 rushing yards and two touchdowns against the Los Angeles Chargers. His ability to break big runs and catch passes out of the backfield makes him a perfect RB2 target with RB1 upside as the Commanders’ offense gets healthier and improves its upside. The past two games have tanked his value, turning him into a bargain for patient owners eyeing a workload surge. For him, I’d willingly give up a mid-tier wide receiver like Tee Higgins, who, despite surging in Week 7 with new quarterback Joe Flacco, is a constant injury risk and is as inconsistent as receivers get. Grab him now, as the hype has faded and the storm has calmed before it explodes in the second half of the year.”

Matthew Golden (WR – GB)
“My favorite buy-low trade candidate is Matthew Golden. While he hasn’t been the best option for fantasy, his usage has steadily increased in Green Bay’s offense. He’s the X-factor for the Packers, and Matt LaFleur knows getting him the ball is the key to unlocking this offense. For a guy who has finished as a WR3 or better in three of the last four weeks, you can probably pick him up for any bench piece and possibly even off waivers. He may not get you WR2 numbers this year, but for his price, it’s worth taking a flier on him.”

Ashton Jeanty (RB – LV)
“Ashton Jeanty totaled only seven opportunities (six rushes, one catch) in Week 7’s blowout loss to the Chiefs – a sharp drop from the 21.67 he was averaging in his previous three games. The struggling Raiders offense has been missing Brock Bowers and also played this week without Jakobi Meyers, both of whom should return following the team’s bye. We should expect Jeanty’s workload to be among the league leaders for the remainder of the season – he is currently 10th in PlayerProfiler’s Opportunity Share metric. Jeanty himself has performed well, ranking 11th in Juke Rate and 7th in Yards Created. If you can trade a TD-dependent RB, such as Kyren Williams, for Jeanty, I would be all over it.”

Rome Odunze (WR – CHI)
“The flames have cooled, but don’t get it twisted: Rome Odunze is still cookin’. Go out and be aggressive to acquire him because he’s still the WR to own in Chicago. He’s leading the Bears by a wide margin in targets per game (7.3), receiving yards per game (nearly 60), and first-read share (27.4%). He has the potential to create some fireworks in the next month with games against the Ravens, Bengals, Giants, and Vikings. If I’m deep at RB, I’d move Cam Skattebo or even flip Garrett Wilson or D.K. Metcalf to get him. Rome may not have been built in a day, but in your league, it can sure be bought in one.”

Forget the recent box scores and bet on his early-season role in this Bears offense. Plus, with a soft schedule on the horizon, it’s a good time to get yourself a reliable WR for the business end of the year at a discount price!”

“I’m looking over at Brian Thomas Jr in Jacksonville. Drafted as an elite WR1, his drops and lack of consistency have left fantasy owners reeling (T-32 in 1/2 PPR leagues). But perhaps there’s hope ahead with more reps and targets for Travis Hunter. The schedule is certainly rife with opportunity. I’d look to swing a deal with an RB akin to Kenneth Walker III (still has a sizable workload is the sell).”

Brashard Smith (RB – KC)
“I’m all about going after Brashard Smith this week. I get a lot of his production came in garbage time last week, but this Kansas City offense is now at full strength with a healthy Rashee Rice and there will be plenty more garbage-time opportunities to come. There is also the potential that Smith grows into the former Jerick-McKinnon receiving-back role and continues to see the four targets per game he’s earned over the past month. He’s a buy-low right now because his production and opportunity could skyrocket with injury, an escalation in usage, and a decent schedule ahead. Plus, the bye week is on its way in Week 10, for a potential rookie bump. I’d send a WR like Darnell Mooney, Marvin Mims, or even Stefon Diggs, assuming I’m stacked at the position, to land Smith.”

Tua Tagovailoa (QB – MIA)
“Tua Tagovailoa stinks! The Dolphins are terrible right now, and it is possible that they will not turn the ship around, but there is a chance that they rebound (see Miami Dolphins 2024), and owners can get a terrible quarterback for very cheap! Currently, Tua is barely a QB2 in fantasy, and he is coming off a 3-interception game, but he is coming off a 2-week span with pretty good defenses (LAC, CLE). Looking at the rest of the season, his schedule isn’t overly challenging except for ATL & BUF, which could make a simple trade payoff in the case of injuries or bolstering a 2QB roster down the stretch. Trade for him now, where you can get him for almost any QB3 (Ward, Smith), RB3 (Marks, Kamara), or WR3 (or possibly less) from owners who have had their weeks wrecked by his putrid performances. At the current price, if he continues to falter, he can be dropped, and teams will not be losing a valuable weapon, BUT, if he turns it around, owners could have a sneaky efficient quarterback.”
