Fantasy Football Injuries to Know for Week 15
Tee Higgins (WR – CIN)
Tee Higgins (concussion) has been ruled out for Week 15.
There was some slight hope that Tee Higgins would be able to return in Week 15, but he’s been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Expect Ja’Marr Chase to get absolutely peppered with targets in this projected shootout. Mike Gesicki and Andrei Iosivas are also on the radar as deep-league or DFS targets.
Josh Jacobs (RB – GB)
Josh Jacobs (knee) returned to practice on Friday.
There was a chance that Josh Jacobs would miss this week against the Broncos, but with the veteran returning to practice on Friday, that feels less likely.
With that said, we should temper our expectations against a stout Broncos defense. This looks like more of a floor week for Jacobs.
Marvin Harrison Jr. (WR – ARI)
Marvin Harrison Jr. (heel) has been ruled out for Week 15.
Marvin Harrison Jr. is set to miss another game, so Michael Wilson is in line to get a heavy workload once again. However, I have a feeling that Wilson will be disappointing in fantasy this time around.
The Texans have the best pass defense in the NFL, plus left tackle Paris Johnson Jr. is out for the Cardinals. That’s bad news for Jacoby Brissett and this entire offense.
Terry McLaurin (WR – WSH)
Terry McLaurin (rest) was not seen at practice on Friday.
There were some concerns about Terry McLaurin missing Friday’s practice, but reports indicate that this was just a scheduled maintenance day for the veteran wideout.
You can continue firing up McLaurin as an upside WR3 against the Giants, even with Marcus Mariota under center. However, it’s likely to be a run-heavy game script.
Deebo Samuel Sr. (WR – WSH)
Deebo Samuel Sr. (rest) missed practice on Friday.
Deebo Samuel also missed practice on Friday, as it was a scheduled rest day, just like Terry McLaurin. However, it’s also worth noting that Samuel was dealing with an illness.
That’s not to say that we should speculate that he’ll miss Week 15, but it’s still something that should be pointed out. I’d bench Samuel because the Commanders are likely to be run-heavy versus the Giants.
Justin Fields (QB – NYJ)
Justin Fields (knee) has been ruled out for Week 15.
With Tyrod Taylor also already ruled out, Brady Cook will start for the Jets. There had been a chance that Justin Fields could return, but that’s no longer the case.
Expect the Jets offense to look like an absolute dumpster fire against the Jaguars. It’s hard to see how they’ll even be able to move the ball, especially with Garrett Wilson and Mason Taylor also out.
De’Von Achane (RB – MIA)
De’Von Achane (ribs) is expected to play on Monday.
De’Von Achane looks good to go on Monday, which is huge after he missed a chunk of the Dolphins’ blowout win against the Jets.
With T.J. Watt unlikely to play for the Steelers, the Dolphins will face an undermanned defense where Achane can continue to produce at a high level.
CeeDee Lamb (WR – DAL)
CeeDee Lamb (concussion) cleared the concussion protocol.
CeeDee Lamb cleared concussion protocol, so he’s good to go against the Vikings this week. Lamb is coming off a big game against the Lions, so it will be interesting to see if he can keep it rolling.
The Cowboys are in a must-win situation, where they need to keep pace in the NFC East and Wild Card race.
