Ian Happ launched a three-run home run in the bottom of the sixth inning for his only hit in five trips to the plate on Saturday. The Cubs defeated the Nationals, 10-2.
Fantasy Impact:
Happ hit the first pitch he saw from Washington reliever, Ken Waldichuk, over the left center field fence for his first round tripper of the year, extending the Cubs' lead to 9-2. Happ is now 2-for-10 with four strikeouts on the young season. He has hit at least 20 home runs in four of his last five seasons and figures to surpass that mark again in 2026.
