Brandon Lowe homers in Thursday win over Cardinals

Brandon Lowe went 2-for-4 for a solo home run on Thursday as the Pirates defeated the Cardinals, 6-2.

Fantasy Impact:

Lowe got the Pittsburgh offense going in the top of the first inning, belting a solo home run off of Dustin May to give the Pirates a 1-0 lead. It was his 13th blast of the season, tying him for third in the National League. Lowe has hit safely in each of his last four games, hitting .333 (6-for-18) with two doubles and a home run during the stretch. Overall, he's hitting .256 with 13 home runs, 32 RBI, and a .906 OPS in 44 games this season.
