Jose Quintana was placed on the 60-day injured list on Thursday with a left elbow strain. (Thomas Harding on X)
Fantasy Impact:
While MRI results revealed a strain that will not require surgery, Quintana will remain on the shelf for an extended period of time. Righthander Jeff Criswell was activated from the injured list and optioned to Triple-A in a corresponding move.
